I am not closely keeping track of the leveling up, but I noticed what seems to be a fast ascent with a newer member. It seems to be from a lot of comments on the fan wall.
I honestly think it is probably just a range of numbers you fall in to with comments and you level up. With the rooftop it seems to start somewhere in the 4000s.

But – there are some beanies with far fewer comments. Javinne is on the rooftop with ~2500 comments for example.
