Hwi Young ahh.. there’s a whole story left undiscovered about you. We need justice for Hwi Young.

I admit that although I love this show to pieces, Ma Hwi Young’s story with his brother (who didn’t utter a single word!) seemed more like an unfortunate after-thought…

Haha i was busy expanding my thoughts in the comment. The brother scene was weird and would have made more impact if it was hinted the brother went bonkers in earlier eps. It’s like HY’s issue is bigger than the writer could handle or she didn’t have enough time to resolve it cause of the focus on romance. I’d have preferred if she went with HY issue. We already know Jun Woo and Soo Bin loved each other, we don’t need mom’s financial issues to drive home the point.

We were told the parents tampered with his Maths paper, so why then did his ranking drop so drastically when he got A’s in all other subjects? It shouldn’t have been too bad. I’m sad that only HY was punished, we never saw his parents being held accountable for the physical & emotional abuse they gave him. They just dissappeared into thin air! HY is struggling so hard to make amends, it’d be nice if he had someone to support him in his journey.

When HY’s locker spilled garbage, Sang Hoon saw it and didn’t make fun of him, i was so proud of SH at that time. He felt guilty about his dad’s action, and it also proved that SH can be mature & decent if he wants to.

Ah noo, I lost interest around ep. 11 because the story became too absorbed with romance. If you tell me Hwi Young’s story was never told I don’t really want to finish it. :'(
