I'm interested in reading your "First Impressions" recaps, after that, I can patiently wait for recaps of the remaining episodes (if PK is deemed recap worthy by JB/GF).

Vote for Gumiho! I have watched the first 2 episodes and, just like the Hung sisters' previous ones, it is very attractive and one can't stop watching it...and discussing it.
Playful kiss is less attractive to me, perhaps I have already known the story as there is a Taiwan version quite some time ago.

my logic: gumiho recaps first just because it aired first. there'll be a bigger investment in the upcoming caps. and plus, you'll be done with it sooner that way.

kiss comes after because well, it started later. it'll give it a chance for the fandom to build up waiting for the caps to come.

most of us are already hooked on gumiho, and it seems our lovely writers are the same. i voted for GGKK, because i'm loving it to bits and pieces. however, i agree with the people saying first impressions posts should be given priority, because after the first 2 -4 but really the first 2 eps, people will decide how much they want kiss recaps, based on their first reactions. after that you guys can go with the vote or whatever you feel, but it's probably fairer to give the first 2 eps at least of kiss priority, so we can get a feel for both dramas and how they compare. especially before through SKK Scandal into the mix!

hmmpff..... difficult choices. love guminho. but kiss in one of my fave manga, love to see the difference from the previous version. and most of all, I love spoiler ;-p (coz always prefer avoiding sad episode)

but whatever the result is, grateful that you will recap them.

Not only do these ladies put up great recaps, they actually want our input on when and how to put them out! Gee, you're spoiling us, but keep it coming...as long as they don't snarl up the rest of your lives, natch! Many thanks ladies, your humour brings a lot of sunshine to this existence.

I voted Kiss, Gumiho, Kiss, Gumiho b/c the site I watch k-dramas won't have Kiss available to watch translated until days after airing and I really really can't wait that long despite knowing the general storyline. Your recaps are so wonderfully thorough. I think Gumiho maybe more delightful to give insight on though since it's a fresh drama. Either I'm going to enjoy both.

This poll may be a wee bit biased as Gumiho has been airing for quite some time and has gathered quite a bit of a loyal fanbase. Therefore it's no surprise many would want all Gumiho caps ahead of Kiss.

At the same time, it's slightly unfair for Kiss (drama and fans) as it hasn't even been aired yet. Perhaps if it did air, everyone would have had a chance to watch it and decide more reasonably which drama is more interesting or whatever.

The most fair would probably be Gumiho/Kiss/Gumiho/Kiss, or Kiss/Gumiho/Kiss/Gumiho; giving everyone a chance to receive both recaps equally.

Or maybe you could find a guest recapper?

If this hasn't been brought up (I'm quite lazy today to read through 4-5 pages right now), has a "team" been mentioned?

Rather then a single individual doing a recap, perhaps try having a "main" recapper of the episode, and have an "assistant" to help with other... things that you may need assist on (images, etc) to get the work down faster and less burdensome for a single individual.

JB eats a steak on Wed, GF gives JB a Kiss on Thurs, then JB drinks some bubbly soda to wash down that steak on Fri, then they both go play on Sat, and on Sunday, the Koala decrees they rest.

And everyone watchs Gumiho and/or PK the second they torrents and streams are available - its not rocket science, I think what is happening is quite intuitively easy to deduce despite a lack of familiarity with the Korean language.

SIR, on the other hand, yikes, we need subs or recaps! Kidding. :-P

MGIAG is new to me while MK i kinda knew already (ive watched bits and pieces of ISWAK) besides, mi-ho owns the part of a heroine who's head over heels with the hero to perfection. she's made stalking to a form of art man. gumiho all the way!

I seriously think this is way too unfair...just coz gumiho aired first doesn't mean the fans of PK (including me) should wait for the recaps...this is so not fair. JB n GF...i understand it is going to be hectic for u two but then u can always get a guest recapper and am sure there ll be many PK lovers ready to do it. This poll is not fair at all...am a bit disappointed.

the only reason i would ever pain myselff to go through the plot of "playful kiss" EVER EVER again is because of kim hyun joong eyecandy..i hated the taiwan version and only finished it so that i could tell people without-a-doubt it is probably the worst most draggy and predictable drama i have ever seen!!! i love the actors / actresses in the tawain drama but the characters were highly annoying (yes....i think ALL of them were annoying.) and the story was so boring i literally fell asleep in a bunch of them...
i think it is an overhyped drama for no particular reason. whatver the korean producers do, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE tHE MAIN FEMALE LEAD A LITTLE LESS STUPID THAN SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE.

you guys should just stick to gumiho since you already started and it seems like majority took the vote on gumiho. i definitely pick gumiho but like what you guys stated, if one drama starts to suck then change it

As I've already seen the Japanese and Taiwanese versions of "Kiss" and it seems highly unlikely that the story will change in the Korean version (a remake is a remake after all).

im hoping playful kiss will suceed my expectations, as i TOTALLY LOVED iswak...so....but im totally loving gumiho...so...bring more recaps of that drama for now...xx
