SKKS addiction is keeping me away fr it and many more impt things like sleep in life. If a drama is keeping me away fr watching sth everybody's THE best (Comrades), or JXF, which has MM (ok and I'm the biggest wimp), that's it. BEST DRAMA.
Even not considering the pleasures/hotties it's giving me, it's a well written show, with interesting characters with little twists fr the typical making me caring for them enough (or a WHOLE GREAT DAMN DEAL), and it's feeding my BL shoujo beast like I can never believe it, even down to that harpy instrumental (yeah in my shoujo world, all those heart flutterings should be accompanied by harps, eyesexing and lip lickings). Also I think I've widen my range of high notes I can hit on squeeing so I feel really confident in conquering my next Noraebang Idol Contest w/ My Poor Poor chingus. My pulmonary function is also much better w/ my panting and the continuous OMOOMOOMOOMO and SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and since I do that to 8, 9 or 10? hot studs on that show (yes exc InSoo)
Logically I also wanna add, Cinderella Sister is so not the worst drama EVER this year, let alone EVERRR. most frustrating, and I've pulled most hair out (but I had a lot of hair to spare) and most I swear at, true, true and true. Re: Antique, the j-dorama version. When casting rumors about the kmovie were released, I tried watching the j-dorama version and...I couldn't. And I'm even a fan of Fujiki Naohito's. I don't know, it was SO sloooooow and silent. Plus, there was, like, no slashy vibes at all and wth, the manga and anime were ALL about that.

Are you still watching the Drama Specials? Any that you want me to look out for? I caught a few this weekend, intend to watch the majority of them. Though some of them are pretty mediocre, it's still worthwhile to scrummage around and find a real gem.
I'm looking forward to the following: Last Flashman (questionable title but it's about kiddies and has Lee Sung-min in it, Lee Sung-min!). Also I'm a Butterfly (Choi Il-Hwa, Ryu Sang-wook), Boy Meets Girl (Seo Shin-ae) and Texas Hit (Kim Gab-soo), so I'll continue to trudge on through. Mi-joo's former little 'hood (such an enchanting little place, so full of character, le sigh), her calling out into the night sky over Seoul ''Seoul-aah, my Gang-mo oppa is going to build the highest tower in this city!'' *tear* And that was some unappetising-looking jajangmyun they were eating.
OK, now I'm on a roll. 17 episodes in two people had an emotional reunion, 17 episodes to go the same two people had an emotional reunion. 15 episodes in someone was dealing with the aftermath of a run-in with Seong-mo's gun and healing in the hospital. 15 episodes to go I'm expecting some similar-ish scenes. Eeep... so cool.
One the subject of boys+SKKS, my dad likes it. XD He wandered in one day while I was watching ep. 12 raw and got sucked it. I ended up translating everything I could understand and pausing to give backstory every now and then, and when we got to the end of the ep he asked if I had any of it subbed. We still haven't gotten around to actually watching it together (he's a busy bee), but every so often he reminds me. Obviously he was intrigued by the whole girl-crossdressing-thing and related inevitable shenanigans.
Mom likes JXF on the other hand, although after I warned her it was creepy and suspenseful we watched the episode that was SO NOT. Luckily the next one was, so she thinks very highly of it. She also agrees that KJH is a lovely man, although she wants to buy him a new hat. XD

Oh, whoever asked - yeah, I'm a Matsujun completist EXCEPT for Arashi. I pretend Arashi doesn't exist, just like I pretend SMAP doesn't exist. Sadly I can't do the same for KAT-TUN because they are too amusing.
But sort of by accident when momochan was visiting a few summers ago, we marathoned a whole lot of doramas, and in the end we only needed 1 more Matsujun to be complete so we manned up and watched Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru - yeah.....well....
I dunno, the WithS2 crew subbed it, so I imagine SOMEONE watched it through to completion. o.o; I can't think of who in their right mind would do such a thing. But it would definitely be my nom for Profound Misuse of Talent. And it'd win, no matter what else you put up against it. ><;
And Runaway probably fits under the So Bad It's Good category. Because really, I'm rofling all over the place during every episode (largely because of the Henney, not gonna lie) but I'm having loads of fun doing so. XD
I stopped actively watching PK back around episode 6, but I may tune in for the wedding night. Sexy fun times with those two awkward souls? I'm blushing just thinking about it. XD;
And on the subject of Personal Taste, I recommended it to my old roommate way back when it was first starting and still had potential because she has a serious thing for Lee Minho (probably because she's 6'1" and likes that he's so tall XD), and she would call me every week to yell about the new developments. It was awesome. XD;; She and I discussed at length the crazy and how it had SO MUCH EFFING POTENTIAL. For someone who'd only ever seen one other Kdrama (BOF) in her life, she was very passionate and opinionated. XD
There may have been a few people at WITHS2 who watched all of it, but generally every drama is spread out among a bunch of different people. I worked on two eps, 14 and 20, without ever having watched a single minute of the rest of it.
I got the impression that anyone at WITHS2 subbing or timing Poontang was akin to getting the short straw in the vote for who had to clean out the barn after the race.
I feel just awful for SJS - it's like he is desperately in need of drama career intervention after coming back from MS.
PT - that is one drama that makes me more and more pissed. If I wrote my Firs Impression review of it today (rather than 3 months ago), I'd be about 5 times more brutal. The lack of anything working right in that drama gets my goat angrier with the passage of time.

You have to check out the PK wedding night scene - I'm already imagining the 530 thousand KHJ-fangirls first expiring on the spot, and then pitchforks in hand hunting down poor Jung So Min.

If it wasn't a young idol drama, this wouldn't be anything remotely noteworthy. Because it is PK and involves KHJ, this might just redeem any lacks in that drama for all of eternity.

What? I liked Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru. Or rather, well, let elaborate. I liked how MatsuJun acted cos, well, he acted. As for the story, it was probably manipulative, but me? I thought it was rather touching and sweet, but then again the hospital experience was still fresh in my mind and I still had health problems (I still do, but whatever, beside the point) so MAYBE the topic hit close home and I was all emotional...

I always include InSoo in all my day dreaming cause the man is fine as all get out. Yeah he makes those faces and has those tantrums, but that just makes me want to...um never mind. Maybe in a drunken fit I'll talk about that. :)
As for the wedding night on PK, They should do nicely. The sexiest scene of all time though, in any drama or any TV anywhere is still They Kiss Again. The honeymoon sequence was shot from the shoulder up and I dare anyone to watch it and not need a cold shower after. Seriously the hottest thing on film I ever saw.
The worst show of the year so far that I sat through was I am legend. Things I could not sit through I try not to count.
Haha, maybe that's true. I almost wish they'd dropped it and focused on their other projects, but I guess they wouldn't be the WITHS2 people we know and love if they didn't keep going. ><;
BOF was definitely crazier, but PT just sort of..lost its mind, I guess. When we were watching BOF we didn't even question anything most of the time, because we'd long ago accepted that it didn't follow any logic we were familiar with. But with PT, her main problem was that things didn't flow the way they were supposed to, and random things came in (the whole dead mom drama at the end, especially) and screwed up an otherwise okay plot and made our beloved characters do things that a sane writer wouldn't have made them do. She also was incredibly upset that the SJ character turned into such a bitch, because for a long time he was our favourite. :(

This clips starts off with Xiang Qin(HaNi) lost in Guam after she has had a fight with her husband Zhi Shu(Seung Jo). Also we have Ah Jin(Duckie) who has gone on his own personal vacation to forget his loss of Xiang Qin only to see her running through the street and end up in a bad situation.
If you want to skip all of that stuff. The scene in question begins at 6min50sec-ish
It's not that it's harder to speak cat, just that the Cat Team is made of so much fail -- in fact, Ohno, Aiba, and Sho are masters of the fail. XD Nino and MatsuJun are just surprisingly quick.

Haha yes, Joe and Ariel have ridiculous chemistry. *_* I loooooooooaaaaaaaaaathed her character (SO DUMB, and not even in an adorably dim way like the manga/anime version or Jung So-min's version), but she did have fantastic chemistry with her leading man.

HJW may have taken a shower of pain but it wasn't in WHIB - where she took a dip in the pool fully dressed and come out of the shower to find Jae Min. But alas, no shower of pain.
The lady shower was surprisingly short - prolly cuz there is no fan service without it turning X-rated.
FoD is seriously shizzle for the fizzle. Cannot even digest the dialogue in it. Half the shit I feel like has multiply meanings and layer of context.
As for why SKKS is not my squeegie-love? I dunno, I really like it alot, alot, but I'm merely comparing it to the myriad other reactions ranging from "I'll sell my firstborn to watch the next episode" to "I'll trade you ten donkeys and a mule if you send me SKKS soft subs", and realize I must not like it enough if I have no such desire and am not even compelled to be caught up on it.

Micky, Moony, Yummy r lighting fireworks in my womanly bits. (mookie'sTMI)
I have not watched Comrades.
SKKS addiction is keeping me away fr it and many more impt things like sleep in life. If a drama is keeping me away fr watching sth everybody's THE best (Comrades), or JXF, which has MM (ok and I'm the biggest wimp), that's it. BEST DRAMA.
Even not considering the pleasures/hotties it's giving me, it's a well written show, with interesting characters with little twists fr the typical making me caring for them enough (or a WHOLE GREAT DAMN DEAL), and it's feeding my BL shoujo beast like I can never believe it, even down to that harpy instrumental (yeah in my shoujo world, all those heart flutterings should be accompanied by harps, eyesexing and lip lickings). Also I think I've widen my range of high notes I can hit on squeeing so I feel really confident in conquering my next Noraebang Idol Contest w/ My Poor Poor chingus. My pulmonary function is also much better w/ my panting and the continuous OMOOMOOMOOMO and SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and since I do that to 8, 9 or 10? hot studs on that show (yes exc InSoo)
Logically I also wanna add, Cinderella Sister is so not the worst drama EVER this year, let alone EVERRR. most frustrating, and I've pulled most hair out (but I had a lot of hair to spare) and most I swear at, true, true and true. And it ends at 19 btw. and just to remind u girls, it has PIE and MM. nugh said.
Am I the only word TAE(a MetroDad reference) @OT? please tell me no.
Since this OT is so precious, I cant stop but throw in a rant on InSoo, the 1 blip stopping me fr my OMOSQUEEEEE every sec of SKKS:
InSoo can die and I wont care. What is totally a turn off for me is exactly his crushing of ChoSun since 10 yo AND Still dun know shit about the girl. This is not crushing this is lusting. If u LURVE your woman, you will want to know every single thing about her and her likes and dislikes, not psychologically raping her every single minute she has to spend with you. and yes, flaring nostrils, eyes out of sockets, bound fists, bursting veins on neck. SO. NOT. HOT.
And yeah, he chose his wingmen by very poor taste (ok except that mute but so winkwink secret admirer of his) and I do judge a man by the company he keeps. And he has no game and frankly quite mediocre in intelligence even by SKK standard (not the real historical SKK, that girl has no adams apple, DUDES!)
And I blame him on a more meta level, I always ship any baddie who can enslave me with anything and everything. He failed to take me, I can be his #1 fangirl and defend him all my stubborn annoying ways, but nope... just to add to his blehness.

I'm looking forward to the following: Last Flashman (questionable title but it's about kiddies and has Lee Sung-min in it, Lee Sung-min!). Also I'm a Butterfly (Choi Il-Hwa, Ryu Sang-wook), Boy Meets Girl (Seo Shin-ae) and Texas Hit (Kim Gab-soo), so I'll continue to trudge on through. Holler if you have anything to say about those four.

Mi-joo's former little 'hood (such an enchanting little place, so full of character, le sigh), her calling out into the night sky over Seoul ''Seoul-aah, my Gang-mo oppa is going to build the highest tower in this city!'' *tear* And that was some unappetising-looking jajangmyun they were eating.
OK, now I'm on a roll. 17 episodes in two people had an emotional reunion, 17 episodes to go the same two people had an emotional reunion. 15 episodes in someone was dealing with the aftermath of a run-in with Seong-mo's gun and healing in the hospital. 15 episodes to go I'm expecting some similar-ish scenes. Eeep... so cool.

One the subject of boys+SKKS, my dad likes it. XD He wandered in one day while I was watching ep. 12 raw and got sucked it. I ended up translating everything I could understand and pausing to give backstory every now and then, and when we got to the end of the ep he asked if I had any of it subbed. We still haven't gotten around to actually watching it together (he's a busy bee), but every so often he reminds me. Obviously he was intrigued by the whole girl-crossdressing-thing and related inevitable shenanigans.
Mom likes JXF on the other hand, although after I warned her it was creepy and suspenseful we watched the episode that was SO NOT. Luckily the next one was, so she thinks very highly of it. She also agrees that KJH is a lovely man, although she wants to buy him a new hat. XD

I like looking at Insoo too. His crazed pretty is strangely mesmerizing to me, even if he's not the best actor. (But at least he blinks now!) I just keep hoping that his character grows and changes somewhat. D: Is redemption too much to ask for such a pretty boy?

At least one of us watched one each of the candidates in its entirety...except for Poontang #1.
No one, I mean, no one admits to watching it all. Which is impossible to judge it then, except that no one watching it says reams about it in and of itself.
I guess since @serendipity recapped it for a few episodes she ought to be the most qualified Poontang reviewer we have.
I think I'm jumping the gun here, we have a couple of new dramas launching soon that may just take the cake. And I forgot to add Runaway to that list.

Oh, whoever asked - yeah, I'm a Matsujun completist EXCEPT for Arashi. I pretend Arashi doesn't exist, just like I pretend SMAP doesn't exist. Sadly I can't do the same for KAT-TUN because they are too amusing.
But sort of by accident when momochan was visiting a few summers ago, we marathoned a whole lot of doramas, and in the end we only needed 1 more Matsujun to be complete so we manned up and watched Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru - yeah.....well....

I dunno, the WithS2 crew subbed it, so I imagine SOMEONE watched it through to completion. o.o; I can't think of who in their right mind would do such a thing. But it would definitely be my nom for Profound Misuse of Talent. And it'd win, no matter what else you put up against it. ><;
And Runaway probably fits under the So Bad It's Good category. Because really, I'm rofling all over the place during every episode (largely because of the Henney, not gonna lie) but I'm having loads of fun doing so. XD
I stopped actively watching PK back around episode 6, but I may tune in for the wedding night. Sexy fun times with those two awkward souls? I'm blushing just thinking about it. XD;
And on the subject of Personal Taste, I recommended it to my old roommate way back when it was first starting and still had potential because she has a serious thing for Lee Minho (probably because she's 6'1" and likes that he's so tall XD), and she would call me every week to yell about the new developments. It was awesome. XD;; She and I discussed at length the crazy and how it had SO MUCH EFFING POTENTIAL. For someone who'd only ever seen one other Kdrama (BOF) in her life, she was very passionate and opinionated. XD

There may have been a few people at WITHS2 who watched all of it, but generally every drama is spread out among a bunch of different people. I worked on two eps, 14 and 20, without ever having watched a single minute of the rest of it.
After watching Comrades? It was pretty laughable.

I got the impression that anyone at WITHS2 subbing or timing Poontang was akin to getting the short straw in the vote for who had to clean out the barn after the race.
I feel just awful for SJS - it's like he is desperately in need of drama career intervention after coming back from MS.
PT - that is one drama that makes me more and more pissed. If I wrote my Firs Impression review of it today (rather than 3 months ago), I'd be about 5 times more brutal. The lack of anything working right in that drama gets my goat angrier with the passage of time.
Did you friend think PT was more insane in plot than BOF? Just curious.
You have to check out the PK wedding night scene - I'm already imagining the 530 thousand KHJ-fangirls first expiring on the spot, and then pitchforks in hand hunting down poor Jung So Min.
mild spoiler - a certain line of dialogue that may or may not involve "I can't wait any longer....", and then someone getting carried to bed.
If it wasn't a young idol drama, this wouldn't be anything remotely noteworthy. Because it is PK and involves KHJ, this might just redeem any lacks in that drama for all of eternity.

What? I liked Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru. Or rather, well, let elaborate. I liked how MatsuJun acted cos, well, he acted. As for the story, it was probably manipulative, but me? I thought it was rather touching and sweet, but then again the hospital experience was still fresh in my mind and I still had health problems (I still do, but whatever, beside the point) so MAYBE the topic hit close home and I was all emotional...
You should watch some clips of the Arashi boys on variety shows: they are hilarious ^^

I always include InSoo in all my day dreaming cause the man is fine as all get out. Yeah he makes those faces and has those tantrums, but that just makes me want to...um never mind. Maybe in a drunken fit I'll talk about that. :)
As for the wedding night on PK, They should do nicely. The sexiest scene of all time though, in any drama or any TV anywhere is still They Kiss Again. The honeymoon sequence was shot from the shoulder up and I dare anyone to watch it and not need a cold shower after. Seriously the hottest thing on film I ever saw.
The worst show of the year so far that I sat through was I am legend. Things I could not sit through I try not to count.

Haha, maybe that's true. I almost wish they'd dropped it and focused on their other projects, but I guess they wouldn't be the WITHS2 people we know and love if they didn't keep going. ><;
BOF was definitely crazier, but PT just sort of..lost its mind, I guess. When we were watching BOF we didn't even question anything most of the time, because we'd long ago accepted that it didn't follow any logic we were familiar with. But with PT, her main problem was that things didn't flow the way they were supposed to, and random things came in (the whole dead mom drama at the end, especially) and screwed up an otherwise okay plot and made our beloved characters do things that a sane writer wouldn't have made them do. She also was incredibly upset that the SJ character turned into such a bitch, because for a long time he was our favourite. :(

This clips starts off with Xiang Qin(HaNi) lost in Guam after she has had a fight with her husband Zhi Shu(Seung Jo). Also we have Ah Jin(Duckie) who has gone on his own personal vacation to forget his loss of Xiang Qin only to see her running through the street and end up in a bad situation.

It's not that it's harder to speak cat, just that the Cat Team is made of so much fail -- in fact, Ohno, Aiba, and Sho are masters of the fail. XD Nino and MatsuJun are just surprisingly quick.

Haha yes, Joe and Ariel have ridiculous chemistry. *_* I loooooooooaaaaaaaaaathed her character (SO DUMB, and not even in an adorably dim way like the manga/anime version or Jung So-min's version), but she did have fantastic chemistry with her leading man.
