Seo Kang-joon to make movie debut in My Love, My Bride

Cutie Seo Kang-joon (Sly and Single Again, Suspicious Housekeeper) has joined the cast of My Love, My Bride, the remake of the eponymous 1990 film which starred veteran actor Park Joong-hoon and the late Choi Jin-shil as squabbling newlyweds. Shin Mina (Arang and the Magistrate) and Jo Jung-seok (You’re the Best, Lee Soon Shin) have stepped into their roles in the 2014 reboot, and Seo Kang-joon will play a prominent part as Shin Mina’s art academy hoobae. He’s also a flower boy teacher who is much admired by his female students.
He certainly qualifies as a flower boy (real age: 20), but he also exudes the maturity and charm necessary to pull off a teacher role — I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of the actor to come. Through his reps, Seo Kang-joon indicated, “I’m nervous because My Love, My Bride is my first movie. However, I’m honored to work with such great sunbaes and crew and I’m learning so much from them. I’ll do my acting best.”
The film, directed by Lim Chan-sang (The President’s Barber), began shooting in February and will be released in the latter half of this year.

That picture is a disaster! He's so pretty, and those clothes and the flatness the picture (and the photoshop?) are doing him no favors. I think my grandmother used to wear a shirt like that.

seo kang joon = my new crush. he's so adorable! (in anything he wears) i looooove after school luck or not. it's so random and hilarious! i recommend it for anyone who is a fan and loves strange, short shows with cute boys and lots of heart.

He's talented and I'm actually surprised when I first know he's 93'er.
Shin Min Ah really lucky to work with Jo Jung Suk and Seo Kang Joon, she must be saving Korea in previous lives.

Why don't you say that they're the ones lucky to work with her. I dislike such statements especially when it tends to be directed to females because it feels like she doesn't work hard and her skills are not on par with the men which is so not true.

Why don't you say that they're the ones who are lucky to be able to work with her? Such statements irk me to no end especially since they're mostly directed at women. They make it seem like she didn't work hard, is not on par with them skills-wise and therefore is undeserving, which is so not true so many times.

I mean as a female (I'm a girl too) it would be our dream to work with handsome and cute guys.
Shin Min Ah, as someone who works in the industry for very long time, has worked with many handsome guys.
That's lucky in my book and not undeserving.
I might have to rephrase it so people don't misunderstood my intentions.

SKJ really stood out in After School: Lucky or Not. My first catch of him in the rise. He was meant for more challenging roles. He's got a good luck charm to be accepted for Sly and Single Again and now a movie.
I believe every young starting actor in Seoul fantasizes of acting with super hot actresses like Shin Min Ah one day. It's a given. Guys being shallow and simple are being normal, plus barely being off his teens.
I'm more surprised Shin Min Ah took on this project. *goes back checking on the movie title* Pardon me reading in between the lines here. Oh yeah, this woman is definitely spawning the idea of getting hitched herself in the real world. About time too.

Well, Kim Woo-bin once said she was his ideal woman and he got to work with her in a Giordano CF this year, so I agree with that.

Im currently watching Cunning Single Lady and I like his acting! I read somewhere hes in an idol-actor group too? idk but if the others members act like him then they got a new fangirl because he's promising.. Its curious how suddenly you like a "rookie" actor and before you know it, he has a variety show, a movie and drama in the blink of an eye.. For example, when i saw Lee jong suk in Secret Garden and Woo Bin in AGD, I wondered who they were and then like 2 months later, they were everywhere lol
PS: I totally thought he was at least 5 years older than me and then I realized he was actually 3 years younger than me.. I calling him Seung Hyun oppa when I was actually a pedonoona xD
