Annnd here’s your Drama Hangout for Madam Antoine! This offbeat JTBC drama is another show we’d weighed in on but haven’t continued recapping, but if you’ve been following along, feel free to hang out here, chat about the show, and go wild.

There are probably lots of things to discuss about the show, which pits a phony fortuneteller against a psychologist in a battle of wits. The hero is a researcher out to prove that love is just a hormonal imbalance, and secretly sends fake suitors to woo the heroine to prove it. Nobody said this was a good plan. But he’s sure to get his comeuppance when he falls for her and becomes jealous of the suitors he sent her way… right?

(It probably doesn’t need saying, but just to put it out there: These Drama Hangouts are likely to be filled with spoilers, so if you’re not up-to-date on the episodes, just keep that in mind!)

I just got done watching ep 15. I don't know why they are blaming Hye Rim for his breakdown. He messed up and he's messed up. It is not her damn job to help him out of his messed up feeling of abandonment. Making her feel bad for leaving a relationship that was built on lies.

Also why is she back and no one is talking about what happened? Also why is the ex-gf back and trying to mess stuff up on the last two episodes. I enjoyed the drama even with the crazy experiment but the show's writing is again getting desperate for unnecessary drama. I'm still upset they blamed her for how he's doing. Smh.

I totally agree with you, He messed up the relationship because of his trust issues, but that wasn't her fault. anyone would have left that relationship because of everything he did to her, she waited to last minute for him to back off, but at the end he did not, so it she had no choice but to left him. I didn't like how they reverse the situation on her and make her the bad person and then she was the one that have to fix everything and I wanted to see him regretting everything he did.

It's kinda a good movie. I guess we're supposed to just follow, despite not liking it, we would want to know what happens next. Thanks for the recaps...i love dramabeans !!

I am really surprised this drama didn't get better ratings. This is so much better than a lot of romantic comedies I've seen. I think they did so much better than a lot of other romantic comedy dramas. However I think they didn't market it enough and made the premise of the storyline boring. I almost didn't watch it but I decided to try one episode and fell in love with it.
