Reasons to watch: Returning for Season 2 is New Recruit, telling the comedic tale of Kim Min-ho’s military woes as a… new recruit. With Kim Ji-suk joining the second season, our no-longer-new recruit is in for a whole new world of torment. He thinks his life in the army might improve, but his new hotshot commanding officer has other plans in mind. With enough success to warrant a second second, the black comedy offers a bit of satire on a not commonly seen drama setting. And throw in Kim Ji-suk — who can do basically anything — and you have my attention.
