New posters have dropped for TVING’s upcoming comedy Cold Blooded Intern, showcasing our fierce lady leads: Ra Mi-ran (The Good Bad Mother) and Eom Ji-won (Little Women). Having spent some time away from the office, the former doesn’t have as many spoils from the war. But she’s just as ready to surmount the corporate mountain and the battle begins on August 11. Speaking of battles, tvN is gearing up as well and released a new poster for Arthdal Chronicles: Aramun’s Sword. Starring Jang Dong-gun (Suits), Lee Jun-ki (Again My Life), Shin Se-kyung (Run On), and Kim Ok-bin (Love to Hate You), the fantasy-action’s sequel is slated to premiere on September 9 in the weekend slot, following The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch. In the meantime, we’re now one day away from MBC’s My Dearest. But there’s quite a bit to munch on in the newly released highlight reel as we impatiently wait. Launching tomorrow on August 4, the sageuk melo stars Namgoong Min (One Dollar Lawyer) and Ahn Eun-jin (The Good Bad Mother), Lee Hak-joo (Shadow Detective 2), and Lee Da-in (Alice). [MBC]
JTBC also came out with a long teaser for Behind Your Touch, where we get to see more of the main cast and the upcoming hijinks. Headlined by Han Ji-min (Yonder), Lee Min-ki (My Liberation Notes), and Suho (Rich Man), the fantasy rom-com premieres next week on August 12 in the weekend slot. [JTBC]

The promos also continue for ENA’s New Recruit 2, featuring the cast led by Kim Ji-suk (Kiss Sixth Sense), Kim Min-ho (Moonshine), and Nam Tae-woo (Youth of May) in the newest poster. The black comedy’s new season will be coming to our screens later this month on August 28. [News1]
SBS has posters for us as well, giving us another look at the main trio in the The Killing Vote: Park Hae-jin (Showtime Begins), Park Sung-woong (Bloodhounds), and Im Ji-yeon (Lies Hidden in My Garden). Directed by PD Park Shin-woo (Trap) with scripts by Jo Yoon-young (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo), the crime-thriller will be airing in a new Thursday slot, starting August 10. [Sports Donga]

Hearing Lee Min-ki shout “야 변태“ (hey pervert) over and over is fast becoming my love language for this show…I mean, even still, in the end, he needs her mad butt-touching skills to solve crime! Nasty, bloody, violent crimes at that. Eek.

My current prediction is that the humorous butt-touching will be prominent for maybe four episodes but then its importance will probably fade away quite quickly as the show becomes a more traditional romance-laced, comedic, police crime drama.

Y'all will have to let me know if that prediction comes true. Maybe I'll join up at that point. I know that there have been plenty of other kdramas with a truly wild premise, so I'm not sure why I feel so hesitant about this one. Ah well. That's what weecaps and comment sections are for!

2 - I'm pretty sure those are NOT LJG's arms. Why are we being fed such concept art sketches instead of the real thing, show? Are they still not done with post-production or what?
