A prefabricated family will need a great actor for the dad role as he is the central character that the family revolves around. It is not going to be easy to come close to the original. It was my favourite Chinese drama and was only demoted to a close second by the drama Meet yourself which was made by the same team. The central character in Meet Yourself was the main lead as well as the centre of his community so he could not be beaten as the best male lead character in 2023.
I hope they do make some key changes so it can be seen as a separate drama rather than a scene by scene remake.

I have the synopsis a few times but have never watched it. Now that I know it is by the team of Meet Yourself, I will try it out!

The literal first thing I yelled at my computer after reading news of this remake was "Who's gonna play the dads?!" They're both so important to the story, but especially the chef dad. I hope the production team is careful with the casting there. Also, I watched Go Ahead on your recommendation (thank you!). Really looking forward to this one!

I am so happy you watched it and enjoyed it❤️ We will all be waiting eagerly to see who gets to be the chef dad and what kind of a job they will give him to keep him a meeting place in the community. I think it does need to be food orientated as that was how he showed his love and the reason all the children were at his house at all hours.

Will 1 be a legal drama? It has to be.

Graduation is a must watch for me.

Goryeo Khitan War really didn't do well by waiting this long to give us a poster that features the only two primary women in the cast.

1. I remember the scenic locations in the Welsh drama. It would be a legal drama in as much as the protagonist is a lawyer. However, I would place the drama more in the thriller mystery category.

Is Lee Moo-saeng's role a villain again? I'll pass if it is. He is lovely when he is acting vulnerable. I'm truly over his being type cast as a villain.

The thought of Jung Ryeo-won and Wie Ha-joon in a romance fills me with happiness. I hope it is good.

Totally agreed with Moo Saeng. He is adorable yet masculine enough to held a main actor position without being a villian.
The premise for Hide is definitely a charm with Boo Young and Jin Ah joining the casting. I will give it a go but 2024? 😌

Lee Moo-saeng gets kidnapped in the drama. Ugh, if there's anything I learned from watching Lies Within, the kidnappee role sucks if you are a fan of the actor. Basically no speaking parts, very little screen time, and terrible things get done to you. If his role is anything like Lee Joon-hyuk's role in Lies Within, it is going to be another major waste of an incredibly talented actor.

Park Kyung-hwa’s only credits I see are a tvN drama special from last year called Stock of High School… starring Lee Re?!? Oo, I might have to check it out.

I'm hoping for a better role for Lee Min-jae than in Oh! Young-shim (which was a drop for me) because I liked him in Crash Course.

And I'm really looking forward to Graduation based on the cast!

1. Lee Bo-young and Lee Chung-ah in one drama?!? Count me in!!

2. Still not very interested in this one. I quite like Kim Yoo-jung but she very rarely does something that piques my interest, and I’m never really crazy about Song Kang.

3. Oh I am all over this! I actually have never seen a PD Ahn drama, so I’ll finally see what all the fuss is about (the good and the bad).

4. I remember hearing good things about Go Ahead and I like both of the leads well enough, so fingers crossed this is good!

5. What a strange streaming choice for this drama. Is it not streaming anywhere in Korea? Kim Hyang-gi is always cute, so I’ll keep an eye out for it.

6. Well, looks like a good choice for people who like serious sageuks?

1) It could be interesting. But Lee Min-jae looks very young amonst all these Lee 😅

2) My hope is that it won't be a second Lovers of the Red Sky for Kim Yoo-Jung. I want a story focused on her!

3) I'm really excited to see the new AHP's project! I'm curious about the writer.

4) I'm not convinced by the casting of HIY and JCY, both didn't convince me in their last dramas. The casting of the fathers is important for me. The original actors were so warm in the Cdrama.

5) They look cute.

6) Not sure about the poster but it looks like an old original sageuk, epic and tragic.

It seems I'm the only one, but I'm intrigued with Demon - contract marriage... and then the writer of Mr. Queen.

I'm also definitely checking Graduation.

Contract marriages are my catnip, good or bad ( just fast forwarded through an awful C-drama version this weekend) so I will also try it. The Pd and writer have me more excited than the actors, maybe they can bring out their best sides.
