1. Explain your username (and/or avatar).
It’s my childhood nickname (my real name is Beth). I have no avatar as yet because I am lazy.
2. What is the first drama that you watched (or the first drama that made an impression)?
Playful Kiss (which I am currently rewatching).
3. Tell us about a job or two that you’ve had in the past.
I was involved in transcribing historical marriage records (from the 1800s) and had to teach a bunch of uni kids students how to read old fashioned handwriting because they couldn’t understand any of it
4. Have you ever lived a moment that you thought belonged in a drama?
Once I was out drinking with my flatmates and was talking with the one who would (a year later) become my boyfriend (and more years later, husband). We looked up and EVERYONE ELSE HAD GONE. They’d left like half an hour before we noticed, including one of them coming back for his coat. 😂😂😂😂
5. What drama genres do you especially like?
Romance with comedy
6. What drama genres do you especially dislike?
Romance with tragedy
Also horror – I had to make my husband watch Oh My Ghostess with me because the ghosts were too scary 😂
7. Is there a drama character you’ve ever strongly identified with, and why?
Duk-mi from Her Private Life, because I used to have a boyband website (not nearly to the same extreme though) which I kept strictly separate from my regular life.

Classical studies
9. What’s a random skill you have?
I can read Ancient Greek.
Also I am good at deciphering old handwriting 😄
10. Favourite non-Korean movie and/or TV show?
Pride and Prejudice (BBC 1995 version)
11. Which Hallyu celebrity would you actually want to meet and spend an hour with?
Honestly I’d really rather not because I think admiration is better done from afar 😂 never meet your heroes and all that….but for the sake of answering this question I’ll say Lee Seung Gi because shallow reasons. 🙈
12. Your favorite drama has an unholy alliance with your most hated drama and produces a mutant baby drama. Describe the plot.
A struggling ex girl group member is torn between a megastar who pretends he doesn’t like her but actually does and a chef who does like her is also a sexist bigot who makes her behave like a spineless dishcloth.*
She ditches the chef because she is doesn’t want to be pathetic and lives happily ever after with Cha Seung Won, the end.

*so, just a regular dishcloth, I guess? They don’t tend to have spines🧐
