So Mr Queen ep 14 is 1h 20min long and Lovestruck In the City is 30 mins. The latter was way more digestible even if I am liking Mr Queen (politics aside, I hate that). Please learn and spare us I would watch a good movie if I had to commit for one and a half hour.

I actually like the long run times when the show is good!

I think this sits well with me after a few episodes. Like if the first 8 or so are less than an hour but then they increase the time gradually so I don’t mind it that much. But right from the beginning is too much. Also having watched dramas for long, I’m just accustomed to them ending by an hour so, whenever it exceeds that, it feels like a chore.

I think one reason it might be easier for me has to do with the fact that I very often leave drama episodes or movies partway through and resume them later on (sometimes same day, some times after a few days). My friends always tell me it’s weird, but it’s just the way I am with this sort of thing.

This is the main reason I’m putting Mr. Queen on hold. I was in the middle of episode 4 (well, not that much, minute 25 more or less) and I felt so very little was happening… and I don’t really like all the politics (I’m watching Six Flying Dragons, my brain is already drained by all those intrigues). The acting is fantastic, and I love CJH voice off, but episodes are too long, just too long.
