Any sageuk beanies watching Captivating the King? Fictional king in a real time period. Glad it’s not King Injo, but also not sure how they are going to change history without getting history buffs all in a tizzy.

    I want to start it. I don’t know what to expect, I read the plot months ago but now I don’t remember it.
    I’ll have a look at it because I like the actors.

    I love it so far but the plot feels lile two different shows. One is the serious sageul and one is a romcom. The difference is crazy lol. I just want the romcom one!!

    I was planning to start it this week. The mix-n-match history doesn’t bother me but I may not be interested (at least not right now) if this is going to be mostly dark, brooding, and violent. Winter is hard enough!!
