I’m back from my work-travel with a nasty cold.
Still I was able to read the notifications, and see that the spreadsheet project has grown one Beanie 🙂
And @kmromrelll and @claire2009 had the excellent idea to list more ressources.
I already have one to mention : the Beanie Level Glossary put together by @sicarius
Sorry, backing up a bit, I’m realizing I really need to ask permission from Beanies before I create shortcuts to their materials. @sicarius, do you mind if I include your Beanie Level Glossary in this shared folder? It won’t change the ownership of the document at all, and you can still update or change it whenever you’d like. All it does is use your share URL to put a shortcut into a shared folder. Beanies will be able to see your resource, but they won’t be able to change anything (including me). Let me know if that’s something you’re alright with!
(Also, @darwi, are you okay with me including your Drama Tracking Spreadsheet?)
You are right about asking! Sorry @sicarius that I missed this step.
Yes, my drama tracking template is for sharing.
I might add / modify it a little by adding “start watching date” and “end watching date” (but then I start to wonder if I can calculate a ratio between the number of days between these two dates and the duration of the drama, and indicate if it was binged/weekly watched/slow watched…)
I did this for kicks on my sheet a couple weeks ago! I ended up deleting the column (since it made me slightly embarrassed how quickly I fly through some dramas😅), but I like your idea of then giving them categorical names (binged, weekly watched, slow watched, etc.) to make meaning of the numbers. If you have both columns formatted as a date and subtract the earlier one from the later one, it will give you the number of days in-between without any fuss. 🙂
The nice thing about the shared folder is that it doesn’t freeze the documents at all — so if you change something on the document, everyone will have access to your changes.
Not at all!
Share and Link away! It’s open link for a reason!
In terms of Beanie Resources I also keep a list of Inappropriate Words and how to deal with them and repost at least once a year with new ones found or updated, I’ll link that for you later because I think that would also be useful.
Yes, this is definitely useful! Do you mind if I create a document that includes these words so I can add it to the folder? Or do you already have a document that you screenshotted for the post?
I have another update planned and was thinking of making a document for that sonic you gimme a bit, I’ll compile this and the update and also what to do if you encounter an IW (cos that’s another post) into a doc and then send you that, how does that sound?

@sicarius That sounds perfect! Just let me know whenever those are ready to be added. 🙂
