          No idea! We have 4 episodes. We have so much to untangle.
          Grandpa just won’t speak the truth and tell his grandchild the truth so they can make peace with it. 😡. He better have a solid reason.

            I’m starting to think that the half-siblings’ father really did have something to do with their Mom’s death. Or at least that guy is dangerous. That’s why Grandpa refuses to give it to Min-woong and Seung-ah, he doesn’t want their dad to come close to the power. That’s why he won’t tell Seung-ah exactly what’s wrong because that is their dad after all (I imagine he would want to protect them from the truth if their dad was indeed involved in Mom’s death).
             
            I’m also thinking may be the Dad is the one who has been messing with DH’s studio, not his ex. Like he’s trying to get rid of DH so his children can take over. Grandpa doesn’t know DH is gay, he just knows that his son-in-law is dangerous and he thinks the only way DH can protect himself (and probably JH, too) is to take over and become powerful.

            I like your theory, seems very likely that the dad is the reason why the grandpa doesn’t want to give the company to his children. Probably he is the one that sent that reporter to get the ML to his mom when he was a child. But I think that if he knew that DH is gay, he would have made that public already or he would have told his children once the grandpa anounced that he want him to be the heir. But then again, you might be right, this is kdrama afterall and maybe he will reveal at the right time for maximum impact.

          i am more curious about grandpa.. like what is his deal with the 4 kids..

          1. Doesn’t like the 2 kids born out of the marriage he wanted
          2. Doesn’t like 1 kid born out of the marriage he didn’t want
          3. Likes the kid born out of the marriage he didn’t want but only because he is gay

          Are only LGBT kids deserving of love?

        It’s hard to envision them standing together — although yes, they absolutely need to — when none of them are being completely honest with each other. All these half-truths about their feelings or circumstances or what they know about each other’s situations. Hopefully there will be a coming-clean moment soon.

        Also, what is the deal with grandfather? If he manages his company the way he manages his family, it’s a wonder it hasn’t gone bankrupt by now. Maybe he has a plan, but I fail to see how he has been anything but a net negative in his grandchildrens’ lives.

          Grandpa… I don’t get him either. And how much does he know? Does he think that if he makes Dohan the chairman then he is protecting him enough against the possible social mobbing in case the truth is revealed??

            Grandpa seems unaware of the kind of strength that comes — not from being chairman — but from being seen, loved and accepted by the people closest to you. He can’t turn Dohan into the former when he hasn’t offered him the latter.
