Me accidentally letting slip to mum just how much I paid for K-pop albums (and then the automatic revision of said price at 50% less than what I actually got it for).Also heard around the house:

“Why do you keep buying these, you don’t even play the CDs”
“This is literally just a torch with shapes in it, you paid how much for it????”
“Isn’t ONE group poster enough??”


Also I’m BACK! Or trying to be again – I got moved to a slightly bigger and different department at work, so whilst I was keeping up with live watches, I was a bit too frazzled post-work to post anything on DB. I’m still here though!! And very much enjoying ep.1 of my Lovely Runner.

    Yayyy you’re back!!🥰 I was wondering how you were doing and hoping that everything was good. Good luck with your move at work – transitions like that definitely take time to get used to. I hope it will end up being an even better situation for you than what you had before. I definitely understand what you mean about being too frazzled after work for more “participation”!! I will get to episode 1 of Lovely Runner tomorrow, but I’m excited to hear you liked it! Re: K-pop albums – I recently bought my first albums, and while I did show them to my mom, I did not tell her what they cost 😂

      Hi Hopeful!! 💕 Thank you for the kind words – it’s been a learning curve for sure but I’m enjoying expanding my portfolio in the new role, plus bigger team hopefully means less stress too because there’s more people to work with! Hope you’re doing well also and life is flowing on fantastically for you ☀️

      Very smart move to not let her know the price, especially because international markups can be crazy sometimes hahahaha which albums did you buy? Was the opening process exciting!? Lowkey the PC pull is the highlight of any album for me, and then I spend a good few hours being delusionally dreamy over whoever’s selfie I’ve now got 😆

        Lol they were both ATEEZ albums (their two latest), and I embarrassed myself by how excited I was about the photos that came with them! 😅😆🫠😂 It was kind of exciting to open it and see what was included!! I haven’t bought a light stick or posters, yet, though. What albums did you get most recently? (Haha I’ll need to reply again in the morning, it’s getting a bit late for me – I hope you have an awesome day!)

          And omg nice, the last two ATEEZ albums were chefs kiss! And NO don’t be embarrassed!! I get really squeal-y over them too, and it’s kind of nice to know there’s things in life that’ll still make me feel like a kid at Christmas! The most recent albums I bought were TXT most recent one (Deja Vu is such an A+ title track 🤩) and NCT Dream’s Dreamscape but I haven’t received either yet so I keep excitedly checking the mailbox every day 😆

      I thought so too! Fingers crossed for the rest – I know we’ve had a few dramas with strong starts that then fizzled out in the end but hope springs eternal I suppose?? 😆 🤞

        Most definitely. We start all dramas happily. It’s rare to press play on something that doesn’t vibe at that moment.

        Thank you for your good wishes. I’m rather happy with Queen of Tears and The Midnight Studio now I have high hopes for Lovely Runner.
