Ahn So-hee became a trainee of JYP Entertainment at the age of 12. In 2007, she debuted with the South Korean girl group Wonder Girls with the single Irony. That same year, they released their debut studio album titled The Wonder Years, which produced the top-charting single Tell Me. In 2008, they solidified their status as one of the country’s top girl groups with the release of the hit singles So Hot and Nobody.  The latter entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 76 upon its release in the U.S in 2009. Also in 2009, the quintet served as an opening act for the Jonas Brothers’ World Tour. Ahn So-hee departed the group in 2013 following the expiration of her contract with JYP Entertainment.


Ahn So-hee made her acting debut in the 2004 short film The Synesthesia for Overtone Construction. In 2008, she landed a main role in the romantic comedy movie Hellcats, in which she scored a Best New Actress nomination at the 17th Buil Film Awards. In 2015, she appeared in the tvN series Heart to Heart. In 2016, she became part of the blockbuster action horror film Train to Busan, which was followed by a main role in the drama movie A Single Rider in 2017. In 2020, she starred in the OCN series Missing: The Other Side.


Ahn So-hee is good friends with former 2NE1 leader CL.
