Kang Hoon began his acting career in 2009 through the short film Gori. He landed his first television acting gig in the 2018 SBS series Let Me Introduce Her, which was followed by an appearance in the 2019 MBC sageuk Rookie Historian Gu Hae-ryung. In 2020, he became part of the main cast of the KBS2 fantasy romantic comedy Welcome. In 2021, he played Seo Hyun-jin’s younger brother in tvN’s You Are My Spring. That same year, he acted alongside Junho and Lee Se-young in the MBC sageuk The Red Sleeve Cuff, which won him Best New Actor at the MBC Drama Awards.
Kang Hoon majored in theater and film at The University of Suwon.
