Kim Ji-hyun landed her first big screen acting gig in 2006 through director Byun Seung-wook’s debut piece Solace. Since then, she has appeared in a number of television dramas, films, and theater productions. In 2008, she played the role of Velma Kelly in the musical Chicago. In 2018, she acted a supporting character in the tvN series Hundred Million Stars From the Sky, which was followed by appearances in the SBS sageuk Nokdu Flower and the KBS2 legal drama Justice in 2019. In 2020, she portrayed Ji Chang-wook’s older sister in the SBS romantic comedy Backstreet Rookie. In 2021, she gave life to the character of Aldonza in the musical Man of La Mancha. That same year, she joined the cast of the JTBC mystery psychological thriller Artificial City.
