Yoon Se-ah debuted as an actress in the 2005 film Blood Rain, which gave her a Best New Actress nomination at the 4th Korea Film Awards. That same year, she became part of the main cast of the SBS series Lovers in Prague, which won her the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2009, she acted alongside Kim Sun-ah and Cha Seung-won in SBS’s City Hall, which earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2011, she was nominated for an Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards for the daily series You’re So Pretty. In 2012, she joined the hit SBS series A Gentleman’s Dignity, which scored her an Excellence Award nomination at the SBS Drama Awards. In 2018, she received another Excellence Award nomination at the SBS Drama Awards for Tale of a Good Witch. Later in 2018, she played one of the main characters in JTBC’s top-rating dark comedy series SKY Castle. She bagged a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards for her work in the drama.
