    I’m loving the wackiness of Wok of Love so far and hoping for a decent storyline. You and other beanies have convinced me to try Come and Hug Me.

      To be fair, I only gave Wok of Love the 3 eps-chance … but that was it for the story didn’t grab me. And in regards to Come and Hug Me … watch it NOW!!! So that you can join the excitement with the DB community. I’m crossing my fingers it keeps hugging my heart this well … Prepare some tissues 🙂

      Yes!!! Melo for the win!!! And now that you mention that, mindy … the child actress reminds me so much of Just Between Lovers‘ female protagonist … If you do end of watching it, let me know if you get the same feeling 🙂

        I thought I didn’t like melos until this year. Just Between Lovers, Mother, My Ajusshi, and hopefully now Come Here and Hug Me…. my misconceptions of the genre have been utterly smashed!!!! There has been so much good stuff this year!

          I know! I was wary of this genre as well … yet here I am 😛
          I couldn’t say no to top quality combos, because melos this year have nailed it with the perfect combo of script, acting, cinematography, and music!!!
          By the way, My Ajusshi is on my list-to-watch!!!

    I don’t know if I will pick this up or not, because I hate the cartoonishly bad mother or father trope in kdrama… and it seems that the heroine’s mother in this one is extra annoying.

      Yep, she is … but everyone else is not and I feel like they are true to how normal couples/friends/coworkers conduct themselves in real life, so give it a try!!!
