Beanie level: Rooftop room dweller

Finally caught up on everything else and trying to decide if I should pick Strongest Deliveryman back up. Left it at ep 3 because I had no time. I adore both Chae Soo-bin and Go Kyung-pyo, but that’s a lot of catching up, and the story wasn’t quite enthralling… Advice?

I was in the same boat — I dropped at episode 3 and picked it up again. It got significantly better around episode 8, but the 4-5 episodes in between were mediocre at best. It helps that all the side characters are interesting, so it’s not a total waste of time. Plus the episodes are less than an hour which helps. I kind of half-watched but now am enjoying it fully.

Don’t know if this helps, but just giving my 2 cents.

Thanks! It did help. I finished episode 4 and so far so good. I’ll be sure to stick with it until at least episode 8.

Do it like me, skip majority of scenes(or even episode). Strongest Deliveryman has its flaws but what it does best is solving main conflicts in a few episodes.
I don’t know for sure which moment you need but it is after grandma tells Jin-Gyu that Hyun Soo’s accident isn’t his fault. After that, drama becomes a lot more pleasant (it should be on 7th episode? )

Skipping/fast-forwarding isn’t something I usually do, but it’s nice to know it’s worth it to hang in there.

Augh can I just pick her up out of the show and hug her and save her myself???

Thank goodness I decided to watch both Rescue Me and Strongest Deliveryman on weekends, because episode 2 of Rescue Me may have just broken me. I’m gonna go find some cotton candy now.

I just finished it (Rescue Me/Save Me) too. As you may be able to see from my posts, I’m not doing well. So heartbreaking.

It’s not often I get this angry while watching a drama (invested, heartbroken, sad, whatever — all the time. Actually angry — very rarely). And I don’t mean I’m angry at the writing or anything. The show is awesomely chilling; the people in it make my skin crawl and my blood boil. This whole town is so messed up.

I did not expect it at all so I’m as broken as you. I need more Rescue Me!

I need more, but I’m dreading more at the same time. It’s bound to get even worse, isn’t it?

Lookout. I feel so sad, but not angry like I thought I would be for a moment or two. Jang Do-han is one character I will never forget.

Circle is over, and I’m not as much of a wreck as I feared. (Season2nowpleaseandthanks)

Just took my first visit to Korea! If you don’t count time spent inside a plane, it lasted about 30 minutes.

Been in such a weirdly selective apathetic mood recently, and hadn’t read any recaps for the past couple of weeks. It took me two evenings, but I’m finally caught up!

Current status after every new episode of Circle: AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That moment when you read an article that mentions DOTS before you go to bed, and then you are awakened at 2 am by an earthquake. O.O (Thankfully this one wasn’t anywhere near as big as that one!)

Crybaby had me in tears almost the entire final episode. I’m going to miss this team.

Been rocking to this for a couple weeks now, but it occurred to me that there might be some who haven’t experienced this month’s dose of Instant Happiness yet.

(I can’t believe I only found interest in these guys two months ago, despite having Congratulations on repeat for months after it first came out. I also can’t believe I thought at first that these guys were the cool/mature/serious type…)

So proud of my boys. \^0^/ This is breathtaking, and it just gets better and better the more I listen/watch.

1st thought: Huh. Not really a style of music I’m into. They do it well, though.
    2nd thought: SOO PRETTTYYYYY
3rd thought: Oh. Apparently this is a style of music I’m into. Who knew?

power of VIXX, i like 95% of their songs even though part of it is not my style.Their voices, dance and charisma make me love the music so much more 🙂 (i’m biased as it is the group that drew me to kpop)

Same! They weren’t responsible for getting me into kpop (though I did get drawn in around the same time as their debut), but they’ve been at the top of my favorite list for several years now.

It was the same for me for Exo’s Wolf. The first few listens, I was like, what is this mess? But now, it’s a pretty decent song. I love the harmonizations (It helps not to watch the MV).

Vixx releases never fail to impress. They’re one of the few groups that never disappoint for me (Beast/Highlight, Infinite and SHINee are some of the others)

It’s like even if it’s not your style, they’re so amazing that you can’t avoid loving it 🙂

Well, despite my intentions otherwise, it seems I\’ve only posted once since we got the new site… That\’s about to change. (Not to any earth-shattering degree, I\’m sure. But some.)

I think I’ll start off this wall with my newest obsession’s newest MV (or, as I like to call it, Instant Happiness ^.^).

Oh my heck I love this! Thank you! They’re good, I haven’t listened to them before!

Check out their live and radio performances too if you’re interested! They’ve done a ton of covers (Korean and English), and they write/compose pretty much all their stuff.

Ahhh, Day6! They’re good. I stumbled on one of their MVs/songs not too long ago and immediately started jammin’ to it. They remind me of Royal Pirates, which I also love. I’m diggin’ this song, already, so thanks for sharing, mistyisles!

I think that was one of the first things that drew me to them too, that they reminded me of Royal Pirates. And both groups remind me of Shut Up: Flower Boy Band for some reason, which is always a positive association.

Royal Pirates has such catchy songs! I felt so bad when l heard about James’ serious health conditions. I hope he’s doing well. Royal Pirates has been through a lot! 🙁
Anyways, I heard Moon’s solo not too long ago and it was good. Love Moon’s voice! Back to Day6, I’ll check out more of their stuff bc I think they could be my next fave boy band.

        3

Yeah, they have been through so much! 🙁

Be careful — I can hardly get online anymore without getting sucked into a vortex of Day6 videos! 😉

Exsy also had a solo song https://youtu.be/sfjGj5YlxKw
Unfortunately James had to leave the band 🙁

For Day6, check out I Would (everyDay6 March, track 2), Colours (The Day, track 6), Out of my Mind (The Day, track 2), Blood (Daydream, track 2), Sing Me (Daydream, track 4). Those are my personal favourites.

Also, Day6 did some covers on KSTYLETV that were pretty awesome: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWoGc25qzA3tGjtpxRkIftzUNJvOIjkD8
There are a total of 5 songs, one for each member.
The playlist also includes ‘epilogues’ which explain why each member chose that particular song.
(There are 2 Han Heejun covers in the playlist as well for some reason)

YES! My favorite is “Well Done Again My Friend,” followed closely by “Bad Boy,” but they’re all amazing. ^.^ I’m impressed with Jae’s lyric writing.

They are the reason I look forward to the 6th of every month! I’m in love with their music!
