Is the whole show for Produce 101: Season 2 solely based on viewer’s votes?? Because that seems a little unfair and sketchy for the top 11 to be chosen solely by votes from viewers.

    i agreed too .. they judges should have some vote to.. not in the judging round cuz they are going hard one them ..and in the end the people will pick the top 11 anyways

      Yes ! I feel that if the judges’ opinions don’t count, then there’s no point in having judges anyways? And what’s the point in a show where there aren’t any judges? I’m really hoping that the judges’ are the ones who pick who should stay/go. I’m not saying that the viewer’s votes shouldn’t be counted, but just not 100%.

    Te viewers are the “producers” so… well they vote for who’s going be in TOP 11. The judges are there to evaluate and to make participants progress. But I think it’s more the screen time that’s playing a huge role in voting.

        I watched the first season with girls and the focus was only on few girls. People from unknown agencies but who are talented don’t necessarily have screen time. I’m watching the clips not broadcasted on Mnet channel and there were other good performances not shown too. It’s kind of cruel for trainees because all of them work hard to debut and the ones with more exposure get to be part of TOP 11.

          Wow, I guess this show really just shows how cruel the entertainment industry is over there. Produce 101 seems just as cut throat as the actual industry itself. 😂

            Since I began watching this show and other survivals I became less harsh on rookies. They already suffer enough to debut.

            @mango I didn’t even know until now that rookies AND idols have it so hard. It’s insane because people like us are the ones who determine whether or not an idol gets to be successful or not, even if they do have such talent.

      What?? No )): I think he ranked an A, and it just doesn’t seem fair that some people who ranked A might not even get picked for the Top 11. Oh well, though. Hopefully we’ll all be satisfied with the end results !

        In future missions rank A have privileged if I remember well season 1 like choosing the song and/or their team’s members.

    I am but I have only just seen ep 1 so I don’t remember names yet nor am I rooting for anyone. I did feel quite bad when that existing band had to perform and didn’t get a good score. Plus the group which went first was really cute.. oh and the guy who chose seat 59 was good!

      I’m so enjoying watching this! And I agree with you, Kim Samuel is cute plus the maknae. It was adorable how everyone cheered when it was his turn to perform. I’m impressed with Lee Dae Hwi (dunno if I spelt his name right lol). I’m so sad about Nu’est cause I loved a few of their songs then I feel like they sort of disappeared.

      I felt so apologetic to the first band because I thought they really did try their best and thought they deserved a B, but I guess they really do go hard in this show. Seat 59 is Kim Samuel ! He has to get a spot in the top 11 for sure !

    I only watch clips and some boys caught my eyes like : Kim Samuel, Lee Daehwi, Justin, Ong Seongwoo, Kim Taebong, Kang Daniel, Ha Sungwoon, Lee Woojin and I think that’s it.

I’m honestly watching a gazillion dramas right now that I want to watch because it’s almost the end of the year and I can relax now. Actually, scratch out the “relax” part.

How do these entertainment companies just keep spitting out quality dramas like this at a constant rate? Like, I need more time to process each drama after I finish one.

    I know, right? I almost wished they would just play reruns of classic k-dramas so we can cleanse our brain before the new batch arrives, but then I don’t want to wait to see the new batch either. lol

Non-kdrama related, but if anyone’s in a k-drama slump, you should watch either Love O2O (Chinese drama) or Refresh Man (Taiwanese drama).

        Especially K-drama slumps! I’ve honestly never been in one; I’ve almost ALWAYS had at least a handful of dramas to watch throughout the week to keep me busy, but it’s been a long time since I’ve just kinda felt too lazy to start/continue a drama. So weird.
        Anyways, I watched Train to Busan not too long ago and sigh, it’s not really a good choice when you want more Gong Yoo bc then you’re left w/ no Gong Yoo and a bucket of tears. 😭😭😭
        Train was excellent, though! 👌🏼👍🏼

            Okay, ~apparently~ Deok-hwa was that one butler in the end when Kim Shin was in Quebec again. He was the old man that warned Kim Shin about a bunch of school girls there on a field trip and whatnot. I don’t buy it, bc they really should’ve spent more time introducing future Deok-hwa if that was really him, not just have him appear as an old man and not have Kim Shin say anything abt it. Basically, I could’ve used an extra ep or two of Goblin. Heh.

            I CANNOT WAIT to see Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun at the Baeksangs next month! Really really hope to see them (I’m pretty positive they’ll be there) and the rest of the Goblin gang, if possible.

      I know I’m a tad late, but I just finished Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, haha. I’m actually behind in watching new dramas because I temporarily stopped watching dramas for exams. 😂 What would you recommend for me to watch now that I have no life again?

            Kk! I’ll watch it from the beginning again bc it’s been so long that I could use a refresher and my OCD self just wants to make sure I don’t miss out on anything.
            Aw, haha, yay! I was IN LOVE w/ Goblin from beginning to end and was shook at the ending and stayed shook for the longest time, lawl. I’be accepted the ending, but still kinda obsessed w/ the drama.

I kind of don’t feel guilty for not studying for exams and watching dramas instead. Let’s hope that I’ll receive a good score on the SAT. *crosses fingers*
