Beanie level: Chaebol’s poor doppelganger

Does anyone know if it’s okay to watch Where Stars Land with English subs on Viki (and be able to understand it)? It looks like they’re still unfinished…

I usually find 92% or so to be the point when I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. This varies of course.

For some reason, this drama takes days to get subbed.
While others get done much faster.

I’m trying to be patient and all, but none of the other shows I watch on Viki seem to have this issue…

I’m finding the slow pace of subs on this puzzling.

And of course this had to be the only show I felt like watching today… Oh well.

Same here. I felt like it. But then went ahead with matrimonial chaos.

I’ve had my eye on this show too but don’t feel like watching anything too heavy lately. How are you finding it? Like in terms of the tone.

@nightmoon I like it. First 2 episode was warm up.
It takes a while to get into the mood. It’s quirky at times yet deep and meaningful at times. I like this kind of humor. Not in your face, wry and subtle.
Like I mentioned earlier it reminds of woody Allen movies. The characters, situations etc.

Not sure how to tag someone… It sounds interesting. Will try to get to it soon. I like that it doesn’t seem to be an outright melodrama.

@nightmoon Just type @ followed by the display name(Blue Foot) or username(mayhem). And it will show you options and you select the right beanie name.

Oh, its nowhere close to a melodrama.

@mayhemf Gotcha, thanks! I just started it and it seems very relatable already.

Ep. 3 The tension is unreal between the two. I love it. #TheBeautyInside

Does anyone know if there are any dramas where a hacker is the main character? I’m watching Player and just realized how much I like these types of characters but that they don’t get really get any screen time compared to other leads.

Now that I’ve finished Because This is My First Life, I’ve given myself permission to start whatever dramas I want. The problem is… I can’t decide what I’m in the mood for. Out of these, what premiere did you like the most?

The Third Charm, The Player, The Beauty Inside, & Where Stars Land

I’m going to be biased and say The Third Charm because Seo Kang Joon is awesome as the college nerd with braces who experiences his first love and loses it within an hour…

I have yet to watch the Player so no comment.

Personally I preferred the first ep of Where Stars Land (despite the overused tropes and cliches) more than Beauty Inside (this had a great ending so I’ll be watching ep 2 to decide if I’m onboard or not).

I just finished the first episode of The Beauty Inside. It’s not bad; I’d probably give it a 7/10. Now I just have to get LMK’s character in BTIMFL out of my head. His new role seemed a bit similar near the beginning, to me.
