Dramas Over Flowers updates!

Now we’re covering dramas weekly on the website, it’s getting hard to keep track of just how much stuff is going up. This week, I abandoned Record of Youth (sorry, show, but you were becoming a chore), but 18 Again is still absolutely killing me with its perfection. KILLING ME.

We’ve dropped two new podcast episodes (sorry, we’re behind but we’re catching up!), so don’t miss them! I particularly recommend the latest What’s Up in Dramaland? where Anisa and Paroma talk about female-led variety (which is incredibly lucid despite the heightened hilarity born of a too-late night and a too-early morning!)

There’s also a new Little Yak on The Tale of the Nine-tailed, which was born of an Instagram Live with our pal and Seoulbeats writer, Rimi (@greenfields)

Whew, okay, that’s everything, I think.

    I’m still FF-ing my way through RoY episodes somehow. I’m still pretty apathetic about it.

        I don’t know why I’m watching at this point. Although it’s objectively not a terrible drama (although it’s not great either), my subjective experience of watching this drama is roughly akin to what I felt while watching Was It Love?

          Okay, maybe not Was It Love? That’s extreme of me. But maybe TKEM?

            TKEM at least had Woo Do Hwan. This one is more mindless viewing for me, and TKEM was a struggle.

            Yeah, I sort of go through each episode feeling nothing. Sometimes I scoff or roll my eyes. Occasionally, I find a particular scene touching or cute. After I finish each episode, I wonder why Park Bo-gum chose this project. After both Encounter and this, I get the sense that PBG needs to choose dramas more carefully (put him in a group with Ji Chang-wook and Lee Joon-gi, IMO).
