He needs to headline a melo all by himself……he is so good ……if they had cared to flesh his arc out with Tae Yi instead of whatever weird thing has been done with Jin Gyeom, it would’ve been so much better
He’s never stood out to me as a leading actor until this show. He was cute I suppose, but I love his intensity and burning passion he has in this show! I feel like he should’ve had a career like Jung Hae In, I could def. see him as the ML in Something In the Rain.
He debuted quite late at 27/28 with a great performance in Night Flight which should’ve opened his career, but nothing happened :/ Maybe in 2 yrs? I hope he headlines a Channel A/JTBC Mature Romance Melo lol.
KSY wasn’t ready to be a leading man, until Alice came along imo. This role shows his intensity and presence on-screen, despite his screen time. I almost wish that Alice was centered on Min-hyuk’s character instead. His look, style, role, and setting in Alice is by far is his most memorable and fitting role.
I echo @gem28 point below! Comedy is not his strong suit, it’s actually Melo/drama!! IA, the love story other than parental love, should’ve been more focused on TY/MH!!
