I don’t care what people say, I think Personal Taste is looking adorable.
These newly released stills show the stars looking cute and friendly, and reflects the dynamic between their characters as Sohn Ye-jin‘s Kae-in thrills at the idea of having a gay best friend and latches on to her new roommate Jin-ho (Lee Min-ho) with great enthusiasm, to his dismay and discomfort. Although it’s Jin-ho who first lies that he’s gay, he finds himself increasingly reluctant to perpetuate the pretense but due to certain reasons that keep cropping up, he has to go with it. (And then, to his horror, he finds himself attracted to her against his own wishes. Curses!)
Gotta say I’m not loving the tight pants on Lee Min-ho, even if Jin-ho is supposed to be they type of guy to wear fashionable and tailored clothes. They’ve styled Sohn Ye-jin perfectly, though — she’s not supposed to be unattractive, but merely comes across as that at first glance because she doesn’t take care to present herself well.
I answered the questions in the previous thread but I know they’ll pop up again: Yes, the novel is in Korean. No, it is not in English. You can probably buy it at a Korean bookstore if you’re in a metropolitan area that has Korean bookstores, under the title 개인의 취향 by writer 이새인.

Yea it sux that the book is not in english, The closest story line that there is is “The Object of My Affection” it’s about a girl who falls for her gay roommate…
It was made into a movie staring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston…
This drama should be good though, if not at the least funny…

Lee Min-ho is such a naturally gifted actor! Just by looking at these gay pictures, it’s hard to believe he’s the same person who played Gu Joon-pyo… equally adorable but so so different!

I am looking forward to this drama…love SYJ watched all her past dramas before and watched BOF. I am also currently watching another older woman younger guy drama The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry starring another F4 Kim Bum and im loving the story its cute and funny. There’s one older woman younger man i want to see in romantic comedy type drama he’s another F4 Hyun Joong and Hwangbo, lots of people loved them in WGM and been wanting to see them together again.
I think I’m skipping this one, I don’t really expect it to be even near to BOF in success, and I neither like the looks of MinHo nor of the girl.
Although I hope I’ll be wrong and the drama will be successful.
But for now not impressed. Not at all.
MUST.WATCH.DRAMA. Its just promo pixs…but why does it have to be so effing cute… squish… so watching!
Both lead are very good actor and actress….hope the writting is good…can’t wait.
After “you’re beautiful” i havent found any other dramas that’ll suit my taste.

I’m totally looking forward to this drama, but I hope it’s not as ‘over-acted’ as it is in the pictures… I’m just telling myself that they have to exggerate a bit more as it’s a still shot and they want to garner attention etc etc…

I am very skeptical at this pairing.She looks like his noona definitely. She could have played Jun Pyo’s sister in BBF .Lee Min Ho looks very uneasy while SYJ is trying hard to look cute and young.I wish the PD had stayed with Yoon Eun Hye ( I heard their original pick) or Song Hye Ko or even Eugene.Can’t see any chemistry at all between the two. Looks like the Choi Si Won /Chae Rim pairing has attracted more interest at VIIKII ( 6 to 1 ratio) by the number of visits to PT and Oh My Lady channels. .Anyway I love LMH and I hope that he succeeds in this project. Maybe SYJ should just dress and act her natural self (please no Geum Jan Di facial expression as you look ridiculous).

In my country, there are a few dramas based on something almost similar to this storyline..it’s pretty darn funny….it’s about the girl who’s trying to make a living and has to act like she’s a cross-dessert dancing in a cabaret club…and the main actor start falling in love w/her but confused why he happens to like a man….I hope this drama will turn out as funny as that damn drama that i watched…

I don’t know but I don’t have a good vibes about this drama. First I can not feel
Lee Min Ho’s happiness or excitement in these photoshoots.As if if he was forced and is saying What Am I doing with this ajumma? His photoshoots in BBF exudes his enthusiasm and happiness compared to this. His pants should go and the girl should act and dress her age. I like SYJ as a mature dramatic actress with Song Seung Hyun and other older actors (Go Soo, So Ji Sup etc). With Lee Min Ho? That is pushing it too far. Sorry I’ll pass and watch Cinderella Sister instead. For LMH sake, I hope at least it gets a double digit ratings as the saying goes you are only as good or hot as your last performance!!!!!

Although nobody’s happy that it took Lee Min-ho a year
to find a follow-up project to “Boys Before Flowers”
I’m glad that he didn’t choose some of the other projects
that had been mentioned in the press, as possibilities.
A remake of some (?) Japanese story – like he needed another
round of “J-version comparisons?” Or for another rumored part,
the role of an action school stuntman? Running around with a
damaged knee and leg, repaired with metal nuts and bolts?
This light, frothy role in “PT” seems just right ~ for here and now.
I think that somebody sat down and carefully planned LMH’s future.
This role will be (somewhat) like the “dorky” side of Gu Jun-pyo.
Or at least, close enough to GJP, to keep his youngest fans happy.
Next up? Some gritty crime drama, where LMH, as the youngest
new kid on the block, (read that as a cop or detective) can play a
serious role alongside some of Korea’s best veteran actors.
THEN……..with these experiences on his resume, the sky’s the limit.

Watching the DVD of BBF, I’m constantly amazed at the electricity in the air
whenever there are scenes between Lee Min-ho and the actress who played
his evil mom, Lee Hye Young. Gu Jun-pyo checks and then checkmates his
mom’s evil, cold-blooded personality when he says: “Jandi….don’t touch her.
Keep your promise, or I’ll destroy everything you have.’ Can you say……
like mother, like son? Two brilliant actors ~ perfect together!
I don’t think that there’ll be scenes of this level of intensity in “Personal Taste.”
Maybe not even in the next LMH project after this one. But based on the sample
of what he did with the role of GJP, we’ll eventually get to see everything that’s
in the catalogue of “The Lee Min-ho Fireworks Factory.”

we can judge something just by looking its cover only.. this drama haven’t broadcasted yet either.. who knows that this drama will reach the highest rating? although at the first time i don’t have any attraction for this drama, i’ll try to watch it episode by episode.. if i still don’t have any attraction, i have a right to say that this drama is bad.. can’t wait to watch it, cinderella’s sister, and prosecutor princess which are airing at the same date..

famous pants, that look as if they are clothespin-clipped to the bottom
of the shirt? It’s not a string tie around the bottom, as you might have for
a heavy winter jacket. A dangerous style if it got caught onto something.

lee min ho is a great actor, personal taste/preference is a great drama……. his subtle smilessssssssss are tantilizing, and the kiss at the movie hall lobby was breath taking……… the story great,…. the miscommunications that happens is a true reflection of reality, how as humans we love to see and think only from our own narrow view………. and Lee Min Ho is adorable
