Honest, I wasn't that big on HB. Don't get me wrong I liked him in MNISS and loved him in Millionaires First Love but kinda lost me in The Snow Queen...or maybe it was so loooong suffering and the lead actress was a bore.

HOWEVER. Secret Garden has brought me back into the camp. I will watch what I have missed simply because he seems to have really honed his skills.

Will miss him yet am impressed with his choice of service...

I love this guy! Great actor who does many different genres and does them well, sings well, and now heading to serve his country in the marines? Loved him in My Lovely Sam Soon, enjoyed him in Millionaire's First Love, liked him a lot in Snow Queen (though I didn't really care too much for that one generally). I hope Hyun Bin's fans remain faithful during the time he is serving in the military. People do tend to be fickle and fall in love with the next rising actor or the actor's good looks.

I reviewed military exit videos of two Korean actors, Gong Yoo (12/8/2009) and Jae Hee (6/18/2010). Gong Yoo had a mob of people at his exit and security to guard him, but Jae Hee had about 25 or so and walked alone. Both are outstanding actors, but where did the faithful fans go?

So, I hope for Hyun Bin's sake, all those declaring themselves lifelong fans keep their word, wait for two years and continue to support him.

The second Film sounds like its going to be good. The title, threw me off, its the same title of a 1950 movie, with James Cagney and Doris Day, different story.
