Lee Seon-kyun! I could watch you be this character for two hundred hours. Why is this movie not a drama? ARGH. Here’s a look at the trailer for the new hijinks-happy rom-com All About My Wife, about a meek hubby (Lee Seon-kyun) who’s too scared to ask for a divorce from his bold and sassy wife (Im Soo-jung), so he hires the town cassanova (because yunno, every town’s got one of those) to seduce her away. Naturally, things go awry.
The trailer shows Hubby falling in love at first sight with the seemingly perfect woman, except as soon as they’re married, she turns out to be a crotchety nag-a-thon. He has buyer’s remorse (which has me saying, “This is what sensibly lengthy engagements are for!”) and wants a divorce, but knows he can’t get it the normal way. His buddy, played by Kim Jung-tae (Dream High 2), offers the handy suggestion: Why don’t you make HER want to divorce YOU?
Enter the “legendary” Cassanova, played by Ryu Seung-ryong. Mrawr.
I love the way Hubby approaches Cassanova, like he’s the Godfather or something. “D-d-do you really have a power that others do not possess? Please seduce my wife.” First order of duty is to write down everything about her (hence the title) — her likes and dislikes, what she eats, when she does or does not wear underwear. Isn’t that cheating? Does a true cassanova need crib notes?
But it turns out that they aren’t much help, because loverboy gets shut down over and over again, sending the pair on what looks like quite the odd little bromance. I’ve never heard of two guys bonding over seducing one woman, but I’m always open to new kinds of wacky.
All About My Wife hits theaters May 17.

I watched orijinal one last year (argantina version) ın there he become sorry about what he did, his wife learn it want to divorce him Are they broke-up or not? Watch it in movie! ıt could be more excited…:)
I’m thinking the dude regrets trying to divorce his wife and then…. The only problem is, I seriously have no idea who she ends up choosing to stay with. I looked up the Argentina version (wiki yo!) but, yeah, it wasn’t in English or any Poly language so I had no clue what the ending is. But if you can speak Spanish, power to you.
Finale of arjantina version is like this. Firstly, she dont fall in to Casonova they become friends so she dont cheat to her husband but she learns his plan they fight he says sorry he understands he love his wife. but like he tried before she really want to divorce. they live seperate. in the finale they are waiting their case their lawyers went to prepare their paper but they go to eat smth separately but they sit in a same table and start to talk and laugh. Officer call them but they were not there and finito….
and reporters ask ISJ about her character last words to her husband; “I was acting because I was lonely”
so probably ıt will have happy ending…

Wouldn’t this work better if lee seon kyun played the role of the cassanova? He could just sing to her and that would pretty much seal the deal and make her fall for him. the other guy looks too old to seduce her. I wouldn’t bat an eyelash. He could pass for her uncle or a young dad. What woman would fall for him over lee seon kyun?
I’mma just put this out there but a lot of people would fall for Ryu Seung Ryong. I’m 25 years old and he is definitely one of my Ahjussi Crushes. As much as I love men my age and cute Noona-killers, I am also totally into classy Silver Foxes. (I don’t really have a lot of preferences. lol) That pic of him in the cravat and glasses, holding a wine glass…RAWR!

Okay, before going to brat mode, I just need to say that I love the characters each actor is portraying. It’s so wacky, it’s crazy good. Plus they managed to make Im Soo-jung somewhat ajumma-ish! Wow, kind of awesome. And Kim Jung-tae! Never gets tired of him.
And I sense the possibility of bromance. Which is always welcomed. Like instead of making the wife fall in love with him, the cassanova lured the hubby instead. Fanfic writers, get on it!

I watched this movie back in Nov I think on my flight back from Perth OZ to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (or is it the other way round) i had very, very tough time to contained my laughter and supressed my squeals esp throughout the bromance part, and surprisingly there’sa lot of deep moment making ones pondersabout what marriage is all about (mind U I’m still single girl) all in all.. I love this movie! Wish can watch this again
