WWW got a mixed response, so its hard to predict whether you’ll like it. Frankly, it takes the usual tropes of dramas and gives them all to women. Women dominate the story – they’re the bosses, they’re making decisions, they’re having conversations and playing roles usually reserved for men. And the show is true to this throughout. At no point are women compromised for men. They don’t lose their life after falling in or out of love – they are who they are.

A lot of commentators dismissed it as “tell me something other than Women” but there isn’t much else to tell. The women make it unique; and there are some interesting sub plots about search engines.

Also, it’s a workplace drama as much as it is a romance.

Ah! The dialogue is good, characters are well written and well acted; only the directing has these weird moments with lighting. Lol

I think the directors and editor along with cinematographer were trying to be too experimental and got almost everything wrong untill the split screen awesomeness in episode 15 or 16.
But it was so bad at some points that I had to order books on editing to claim this is too basic to mess up! LOL! This show was such a learning experience along with the working of search engines…
The best part of good dialogues was that they were all given to women to say… and I adored that.

@greenfields you weren’t kidding bout the lighting! It’s fine in small doses (like when i watch the clips) but it’s pretty annoying when you watch full episodes. I’m on eps 4 and loving it so far!

It’s not perfect (but then what drama is?) but I loved it so I’d give it a 10.

In addition to what @greenfields already said, I thought the work-related part is very relevant and interesting (how do government & large corporations try to manipulate what we see online).

I’ll just say that the OTP wasn’t my main reason for watching. There are three very different relationships and that kept my attention from beginning to end even when one of them got a bit draggy.

Plus there’s an awesome drama-within-a-drama which is hilarious and will make you laugh so much.

I won’t have much to add to what greenfields and cloggie said above, but I rate it 10 to watch.
There is a lot to see in the show other than romance and most being woman being damn great at their job without men helping them or so… I loved how badass the women were (sometimes a bit too much), pass over episode 3/4 (they were super weird, at least to me) and it was a wonderful ride learning about search engines.

10 for Hyun-JiHwan/What’s wrong with my mother in law drama within drama portion
    haha
    jk or maybe not…

Overall, I give them 8 but I did skip most OTP moments tbh.
Love: Office team works and the three women and how capable they are at their job. Women character tend to get a personality makeover after a few episodes but it didn’t happen in this drama.
Meh: OTP. Has a minor issue about the final episode.

I give it a 9 and I looooved it. It’s my favorite show of this year so far. Don’t have expectations (if you can help it) and go with the flow.
