It might look to everyone else that I have no style, I’m looking at you fam, but if you look closely I like to think that my style falls in the realm of comfortable wear. Most of my clothes are practical, stretchy, and loose fitting. I’m a nanny, so the need to dress up is not there when I take care of my babies, but I should look presentable enough to their parents. My handbag is the same, practical. It has to fit my water bottle, snacks, wallet, phone, and stickers, because stickers are awesome. I don’t think I could afford a kdrama female lead’s wardrobe, even if they are broke, but I did like the sensible clothing Kim Da-hyun (DaDa) wore in 1% of Anything. She was a teacher with modest clothing and even carried a stamp in her purse. When she did dress up, she looked really classy and pretty as well. I want to dress up too, lol😂. The bag that looks up my alley is the Secure the Bag. I think my water bottle will fit just fine there:)

Recently, Director Ko in RIBB’s fashion style caught my attention. Though I do think it is because I find her character interesting whom I very much resonate with – I also have so much I want to do with my life and don’t see the incentive in adding a new family under my responsibility into the mix. This view of Ko’s is very much embedded in her fashion: she has no confined style, but makes it look like she does because of her confident and forever ambitious persona. Much of Ko’s success is actually solely to her knowledge (like her massive house), because it gives HER the satisfaction which is what she’s seeking rather than society’s approval. That’s why I think the Louis Quatorze bag will help me achieve Ko’s look because it is an unknown brand in the UK, but will give me inner satisfaction to wear and I will strive to pull it off with my ambitious personality like Dir. Ko!
