Park Min-young plays piano in I’ll Find You on a Beautiful Day teaser

The beginnings of the bond that forms between Seo Kang-joon (Watcher) and Park Min-young’s (Her Private Life) respective characters are shown in the latest teaser for I’ll Find You on a Beautiful Day (a.k.a. I Will Find You When the Weather Is Nice). This upcoming JTBC drama is about a young woman, played by Park Min-young, who becomes beaten down and fatigued by city life in Seoul and returns home to the countryside where she is reunited with a childhood friend who runs an independent bookstore, played by Seo Kang-joon.

The recently released 30-second teaser shows the eighteen-year-old Seo Kang-joon and Park Min-young during their high school days. Park Min-young plays the piano beautifully while the other students, including Seo Kang-joon, listen with awe.

The scene transitions into Park Min-young gazing at a field with huge white objects here and there. We hear her say, “You know, those huge white objects that look like marshmallows? What are they called? Seo Kang-joon approaches on his bike, and when he stops, she turns to him and asks, “Do you know?” Standing next to his bike and facing her, his internal dialogue says: “I was always curious about you.”

Monday-Tuesday JTBC drama I’ll Find You on a Beautiful Day will begin airing on February 24.

I want something fun too. This doesn't look fun.

It's about an independent bookstore that's doing so well it needs an extra manager. That in itself is (sadly) hilarious

@cloggie, I only skimmed the synopsis and didn't spot that, but I think that means it's a fantasy drama.

An earlier description said

She decides to go stay with her aunt, who runs a guesthouse, and comes across a high school classmate who now owns a bookstore that was converted from a small, old house. That classmate is the male lead, who used to harbor a crush on her, and who gives her a part-time job managing the bookstore while she stays in the area for the winter.

But then in most drama bookshops, they sit around, drink coffee and have meaningful conversations without ever selling a book.

Which is ......?!

Thank you for answering! We only have two seasons in my country (rainy and sunny) so I am mostly clueless about other countries, especially those with 4 seasons.

Very intrigued by the first teaser and my worries about this pairing has gone. PMY's character gives off a different vibe from her other characters which will be interesting to watch and SKJ's melo eyes already seem heartbreaking. excited!

I was just thinking that about his melo eyes! Convincingly lovestruck is such an important tool in an actor's skillset, and he's always had it but hasn't really got to use it much of late.

I'm really hoping this drama is good. I love the premise but I don't why the actors for me are so-so. I don't think they're bad, but I'm not so sure about their chemistry and I just feel that PMY hasn't found a role she's comfortable in

I will watch this just for the cinematography, if nothing else; I really like the diffused light and warm, sepia tones they used to give the feeling of a memory.

i’d watch this. PMY always has my highest respect when it comes to acting and i hope i’ll be able to watch SKJ (who’s not in a second lead role this time).

PMY can have chemistry even with a tree, so.
