My best guess is that most of the allegations are true.
There are so many now because of a snowball effect. Victims/witnesses may not come forward for years either because they don’t want the hassle, think it is hopeless, or are afraid of retailiation. Remember that you can get sued in S.K. for saying bad things about someone.
But once someone else speaks up, people may be encouraged, might think now is their one and only chance, and might even feel some obligation to support whoever spoke up first to protect them from being sued.

The background is that there couldn’t possibly be so much bullying in kdramas if there wasn’t a lot of real-world fire under all that kdrama smoke. With a lot of bullying, it’s statistically unlikely that some success-oriented, status-seeking future celebrities would not have been guilty.
Yeah, they are all denying, but I have no problem believing most of the allegations are true. Maybe k-dramas should stop with the slapping given how many allegations alleged slapping.
Totally agree with you about this being a real issue. Dramas mirror society in so many aspects, and the way bullying is portrayed makes me believe it’s a REAL problem that almos EVERYONE is avoiding (as in dramas, adults look aside).
Dramas do mirror society up to a point, but we have to see what sells also. If we were to believe dramas, foreigners would think that every female in my country has forced/arranged marriages as that’s how popular that trope is. I’m not saying that the bullying isn’t an issue though – no smoke w/out fire as Lord Cobol said.
Apparently, they’re getting rid of the real time search ranking I think. That’s why a lot of people are coming forward with allegations (I’ve heard some of these before a long time ago though), since they think they will get buried easily once it’s gone.
And I think there was also allegations in sports, so it snowballed from there.

Diversion??? Maybe SK is trying to cover up or divert people’s attention from a bigger issue?

I get you, of course. Dramas are dramas after all.
