So as @LordCobol said, there are definitely a lot of API calls. I saw 834, and it was still going. A lot of calls to metrics and google ad server, which is fine, the sheer volume though
What stood out was that it looks like there is a lot of front loading, of user profile related stuff, which could be loaded as needed. There may be some room for improvement as far as slowness, IMHO
Sorry, I got a little excited. I was saying that they appear to be loading a lot of info up front that they like don’t need to, and can load when needed. This might speed up the site a little

I think some of the API calls are external sources like Ads? They can use CDN for static gifs, but even CDN will pile up costs.

Haha, what a fun use of devtools… But most of these seem to be gifs, and some of them take almost a second and more to load…interesting…
