      @seeker Sorry in advance for the long explanation below.

      Before the DB revamp, I used to visit the site only for reading recaps of my favourite drama and I rarely commented. After DB revamp, I signed up to become an interactive user, but I never followed through and eventually, I forgot my password and stopped visiting the site. It was during the pandemic (2021 jan) when I recovered my credentials and decided to be a consistent commentor. At the beginning, I tested a bunch of DB stuff by myself including following other beanies. I don’t remember the 3 beanies who I followed at that time, but I soon figured following doesn’t have any real impact on my fanwall and just stopped using that feature altogether.

      So, I don’t remember following you or even if I did, I would never unfollow. I had mentioned elsewhere that DB is my stress buster, so the likes, levels and followers do not matter to me as much as the enjoying the interaction with beanies. Since, you remember me following you, maybe the unfollow was an accident, IDK.

      I am going to follow you now because you like it.

      P.S: When DB does make following beneficial, I know the list of people I want to follow and let me tell you, you are one among them.

        Indeed we have discussed this earlier that we *all* come to DB to chill.

        As you might have noticed I hang out more at the Fanwall simply because it’s more relaxing and fun (also there are pictures 😍). I keep at it even though as per Lord Cobol it earns less *Magic Quantum Ninja Beanie Points* than commenting on the main site. Which means apparently it would take me 4 times more effort to level up. 😂

        I am truly happy and grateful for the Beanie interactions as (like many others) I don’t have anyone to discuss K-dramas IRL.

        Initially I just followed back Beanies who followed me. When I learned that the *follow* function on DB is a mark of respect, the first person I followed was Javabeans. 😊 Then I started to follow Beanies with whom I had meaningful interactions as a shorthand to myself of these interactions.

        I feel really honored to know that you would consider following me if (and when) it  becomes functional. Meanwhile thank you for following me now. I’m not on any other social media platform but I do know apparently having followers is “a very big deal”. 😂 For me it is just a way to honor the Beanies.

        I am lucky that during the course of RL job I have had the opportunity to work (and live) with people of many countries. I have learned a lot from them. But the interactions on DB with Beans from all over the world are just so much more meaningful and heart-felt, perhaps because we all share a common love K-dramas and bond over it.

Doctor Slump Wrapping up my fanwall posts for this drama with the pretty OTP. I liked the fact that the drama did not want to do an OTT wedding, but still give its fans the HEA through the wedding photos in the epilogue.

Queen of Tears Ep 1(No spoilers)That was a blast! It was more of a big \”F You\” to patriarchy than a satire on the same. So much fun! Liked each and every character that was introduced. Of course, Kim Soo Hyun and Kwak Dong-yeon had their usual charming screen presence and played their parts effortlessly, but I felt Kim Ji Won killed her character (I was not her fan and have only watched her in \”Heirs\”).

P.S: I went in without watching trailers or reading synposis, so my expectation may have been low, but I am signing up for the frontline seat!

    Yay! Cool. I saw minimum of pre-release promotion. Went in cautiously optimistic. The end of episode 1 has me eagerly awaiting the next. 😊🤞

    I liked it too with all that satire or maybe taunt on patriachy (it really wasn’t subtle here 😉). Though this was just the i tro, I’m not as hooked so hoping tomorrow’s episode will be even better and the show more cracktastic (i really need a crack drama right now).

            😂 Tbh, i think HB was wonderful in that project. I wish he got an award or awards for it. He was very convincing. The plot, specifically its ending, was a train wreck though. It had so much potential, but what i got was trauma re Emma, the ending, and ‘that’ song that Emma plays.

Doctor Slump Ep 2: This drama can either tumble like “Crash Course In Romance” with high ratings or swing big initially and continue to miss hit like “My Demon” and end on poor ratings. Whatever, it is I stayed on both the drowing ships and none the wiser, I am aboard the new ship. LET’S GO!

    I don’t think it will go Demon way because the actors have the caliber to pull the weight when it comes to emotional scenes (which was my biggest issue in demon – apart from script. everyone was just looking pretty and perfect and I didn’t feel their emotions with their acting after Ep 10)
    The actors here are selling their chemistry and are bringing so much to the romcom.

    I am here for the other Park couple ship to sail. YP and PHS 😅

    It definitely has a straightforward story, plot, and characters–that’s what I think reminds people of old school dramas. But the characters will have to undergo quite a journey for there to be enough fodder for 16 episodes.
