Because I cannot simply accept cute things, let me just say: It’s so shoujo! I have so many things to say about Mo Mo’s expectations, and how guys like the utterly gorgeous & sweet Gu Wei Yi do not exist, but here I am going gooey over this 20 year old cutie and this shoujo show. =.= I forgot everything I wanted to say. How is this so cute? 🤗
He’s a complete sweetheart. And for once his persona/this type of character is actually somewhat believable? He just seems to be focused on studying and therefore doesn’t have the time and energy for other “social skills”. A nerd. Who approaches things with sincerity. 😣 Consider me wooed.
I can see the Shoujo, but it’s never at the expense of the female lead.
I actually think Gu Wei Yi (Dora) is mostly believable–and yes, a (mostly) complete sweetheart. He’s not Xiao Nai (Love O2O) unbelievable. I don’t want to spoil anything for you, but the character development has continued even up to where we are currently watching.
ha ha.. I know what you mean. Its sweet in a realistic way (for a drama). There is something about the awkwardness of that age and sweetness of that age which totally got to me. And of course, Dora!!
Hopefully you can join the Tuesday night Rabbit watch. May be too early for you.
Yay! Isn’t it a breezy yet thoughtful watch? I actually have to say that Wei Yi exists! My twin brother doesn’t have his looks/height, but his personality is quite similar to Wei Yi (very clever and sciencey, methodical, dorky, observant, caring).
It’s is such a nice watch. In the early episodes I kept expecting them to reveal that he has some dark, tortured past and It. Never. Happened. Imagine my shock! What in the world have I become used to expecting from my television thanks to Kdramas. =.= I mean, they still went there with the second male lead, but I remain impressed by this “fresh” character.
Your brother sounds amazing. 🙂 And you have a twin! Whoa.
At the end of the day, we all know Wei Yi’s good looks are only the icing on the cake. His personality is what makes the cake – guess that makes your bro a cake(?) *kidding*. ^^
But it’s good to know you can think of a real life person who is like Wei Yi. That gives me hope. I’m only surrounded by too smart lawyers with dubious motives. 🙁

Just wait. He will continue to woo you with his smooth STEM moves.
I like that he isn’t really cold just introverted and……sciencey.

My dog is probably very annoyed with me this past week due to all the high pitch “why so cute” squeeling!! 😅

Huehehehe, this is why non-real life is amazing, we get to meet guys like Wei Yi and have someone to gush over 🥰🥰🥰🥰
The comments on YT were all about getting diabetes from this show, and I feel the same. Started a week ago and I seriously need an insulin pen. 😣😣
