Beanie level: Errand boy

Jae Yi-yaaahh, what are you doing? This scene made me smile like crazy! Love love love both of them so much. ❤️

Sang Pil said in episode 1 he wouldn’t do a background check unless if he’s interested with the woman. But I knew it that he was there when Jae Yi punched the judge. So he’s interested in her?

They indeed have a good chemistry! Ship them so hard already. ❤️

Okay, where can I get a guy like this?! I’m dying to get a guy like him, but that bitchy fiancee-turns-wife of his is cheating on him. Damn girl.

I knowww!! That girl is freaking crazy man! And all this after he laid the hottest kisses on her in episode 1. And told her its fine if she’s late for their wedding because he loves her and sh is his girl. ahdujshdjsadjsa! I can’t deal with this person.

It’s fine, I mean, I’ll gladly take him since she clearly doesn’t understand his worth. Just, poor fella..

I’m not really liking the seemingly new skinny face trend these days

Kwon Si Hyun is the definition of “men are trash.” FIGHT ME ALL YOU WANT BUT I’M STICKING WITH MY OPINION. Here are the reasons why I hate Si Hyun:
– He plays on Soo Ji’s heart. Before you say, “oh Si Hyun likes Soo Ji as friend,” or “Si Hyun’s confused with the affection he has towards Soo Ji,” let me remind you that it was Si Hyun who’s leading on Soo Ji. He asked her for a date before, then he said to Soo Ji that he won’t disappear, then asked her to marry him and said he can’t like anyone else other than Soo Ji. Then when Soo Ji felt insecure about Si Hyun’s feelings toward Tae Hee, he asked Soo Ji to believe on his feeling and said to Soo Ji that he will never make Soo Ji depressed ever again. Now that he is in love with Tae Hee, he somehow throws away Soo Ji like she’s not important to him anymore and claimed that Soo Ji has changed when it’s him who changed first.
– He treats his friends like sh*t. It seems like his words about how his friendship is important to him are just mere words. He might be a good friend before, but after he finds his own source of happiness with Tae Hee, he doesn’t really care about his friends anymore. Both Soo Ji and Se Joo always try to be there for him, but he’s the one who’s been keeping secrets and pushing them away. And now he’s angry at Soo Ji and Se Joo for not telling him about Tae Hee’s mom? He also snapped at both of them when they celebrated his birthday and said he doesn’t need all that anymore. And he seemed indifferent about shutting their hideout down and said Soo Ji’s no longer Soo Ji that he knows. Boy, what Se Joo said is right, it’s Si Hyun who made Soo Ji like that because he was leading on her before. He also asked Se Joo, “what else should he do to appease you guys?” Wow, how many times Se Joo told him to clear things out with Tae Hee and be honest to Soo Ji. From that question, we know how low Si Hyun think about his friendship with them because he feels like he has to prove or meet their expectations to be friends. It seems like all this while, Si Hyun never tried to be himself around them. It’s true what Soo Ji said, “which one of us wasn’t sincere.” By seeing how much Soo Ji and Se Joo care about Si Hyun, I think if only Si Hyun tells them the truth before their issue’s getting big, Soo Ji can accept it as it is.
– He treats Tae Hee like a trash when humiliated her in front of their friends and took advantage of Tae Hee’s kindness. I know that he wanted to break up with her because of his mom, but he somehow used that opportunity to prove to his friends that he’s the same old Si Hyun. His words really don’t match with his action when he told his mom that he loves Tae Hee so much, but how could he dare to humiliate the woman he loves in front of other people? He doesn’t deserve both Tae Hee and Soo Ji.

    *sigh*

Basically, almost all of the characters in this drama suck. Some are more understandable than others. 😓

    3
    1

But I’m still watching this drama for Soo Ji and Se Joo. Soo Ji might not be innocent, but I somehow understand her actions better and want her to be happy at the end.

      2
      1

Yes, I like Se Joo. Which is funny, because I really wasn’t sure if I would like him in the beginning. 🤨 And Soo Ji as a character, thank goodness, actually makes sense and has understandable motivations. She’s still kinda crazy, but so is everyone in this drama..

Did MBC change the writer of The Great Seducer or what? How come from intense and melodrama become damn cheesy now? I didn’t sign up for a cringe-worthy drama. No wonder the ratings are low.

I was really confused by the tone of this week’s episodes too…like yeah we get that he falls for her and that’s part of the plot but I also want to see more seduction and danger lol

I don’t want incest hints, birth secret hints, nor do I want those horribly boring parents on my screen

Writers try hard to please fans. It’s pressure from the board. Not even a better writers can save it

    1
    1

Uhh, what fans? Joy’s fan and RV’s fan, you mean? Because from other social media, I see that only Joy’s stan ship Tae Hee and Si Hyun and love their scenes. Those who are into kdramas slowly stop watching this because of the plot is too boring. It’s not what they have promised to us kdrama fans.

I guess I’m team Soo Ji all the way. Now that Si Hyun’s not on Soo Ji’s side, boy, you’re canceled.

I think their friendship is so precious that I feel hurt when both of them quarreled. Like I get both point of views, but it’s sad that they’re slowly grown apart.

I’m rooting for Soo Ji-Si Hyun dysfunctional relationship even though I know my heart is gonna break when Si Hyun finally falls in love with Tae Hee for real.

    ME TOO

I don’t even know if I wanna watch it anymore because I’m on the wrong ship and this will just bring heartbreak for me and Soo-ji and Se-joo TT_TT

    1

SAME. I’m just gonna embrace their moments together in these first few episodes, and prepare myself for the heartbreak as I go along with the story. I just can’t picture Si Hyun with Tae Hee, it doesn’t feel right.!

      1

I know! I’ve watched their scenes together again and again because I know I won’t get them anymore soon HUHUHU

I want the bad girl and the bad boy together! Why is this not an American show??? Hahaha

Moon Ga Young overshadows Joy with her sassy character as Soo Ji. I already love these trio and I’d feel that Tae Hee is the unwanted fourth wheeler, but it’s Soo Ji’s idea to ask the boys to revenge for her. I know Tae Hee is innocent in this, but but..ah it’s complicated.

14
4

I kinda wish there wasn’t a Tae Hee. She’s not so interesting so far. I find her friend’s dynamic with her Mum more interesting. Moon Ga Young might be the 1st crazy, 2nd female character I like. At least, she’s not too two-dimensional. She’s a total scene killer and her chemistry with Woo Do Hwan is on 🔥🔥

    3
    2

I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who doesn’t feel Tae Hee’s character. Ga Young and Do Hwan’s chemistry is so lit that I kinda wish she’s the first lead instead and this story evolves around her only with no Tae Hee in the picture between Soo Ji and her boys.

I thought it was by design, she needs to have chemistry with wdh so we can see how different the interaction between them.

We can’t have wdh and joy as a lover when they barely know each other, also this whole week is basically the backstory of the friend in high school.

MGY story is worthy of a lead story but for me, having an outsider that you fall in love more than your childhood friend is another interesting story that worth exploring.

The idea that love changes, especially with no separation intrigue me.

“The idea that love changes, especially with no separation intrigue me” Love this line! Yes it would be very interesting to see how and why he gravitates towards Tae Hee when he’s basically been in love with Ga Young forever. It would be interesting to explore the layers of his friendship with Ga Young while showing his developing relationship with Tae Hee. Something like this can’t just be explained by “Tae Hee is innocent so he likes her”, etc. I would like to see some debt to their interaction and hopefully the story takes us there.

After watching Misty ep 8, I feel so emotionally disturbed. I really need to express my anger and frustration towards other characters who go against Go Hye Ran. CANT WAIT for OT Misty ep 7-8.

I have not finished ep 8 but this week’s eps were particularly difficult. I wanted to strangle Eun Joo many times.

    4
    2

Trust me, you’re not alone on that. At the moment, I’m so pissed at Eun Joo and that so-called “great” detective. I’ve never liked both of them from the very beginning and I hate them now.

      2
      2

I hated the detective in earlier episodes for being so smart but now I hate him for being so dumb! How is it possible to get an arrest warrant just based on unconfirmed phone call? Shouldn’t they check Kevin Lee’s phone records first?

        2
        1

Ikr! It’s so ridiculous. It is as if he’s so determined on being right and set his mind that HR is the killer and find only clues that related to HR only. Wth

          2
          0

The detective irks me so much. At first, I thought he just wanted the truth but now I know, he doesn’t even know where to find the truth 😤😤
Okay, that didn’t make sense but whatever. I just want to know why he’s SO sure Hye-ran killed Kevin Lee. What’s his evidence? A brooch and some scratches on her car and some heresay witness statement? Eun Joo didn’t even say she knew for sure it was Hye-ran that called him. She said, ‘I think…’ and even if she was, SO WHAT??

And what’s up with her director? N wants doesn’t want to her go when she wants to go but was ready to boot her into a corner when she didn’t want to quit. I’m like, ‘DUDE, THE HELL?!?’ It’s like they just want to be making her decisions for her. As for Eun Joo, I’m not even mad at her. At this point, I’m just wondering what her game plan is. If it was her seducing Tae-wook then I’m disappointed. Hye-ran deserves a better rival. Even Han Ji Won was better 🙄
