I really couldn’t resist this scene because I loved it so much. Spent more than an hour and I still can’t get his face right! 🙁

BEANIES. I have a difficult decision to make. I want to draw one of these scenes (love the significance behind them), can’t decide which. Which is the best/aesthetically appealing? 1,2,3? Please help!

    I think #1 is the most appealing, but personally I’d choose #3 because of the books in the background!

    Thank you so much beanies <3 Personally… I liked 3 the most too because of the books BUT I think I'd go blind drawing them in… I really like #2 because of the conversation that went on (watched it raw, I read/speak elementary Korean)… Gosh. Maybe I'll try to squeeze out the time to draw 2? It's Lunar New Year in a couple of days so I'm not sure how much time I have but I'll see.

      I’d thought the same about the books, too. My other choice would have been #1 coz of the lighting. Can’t wait for you to post it! I can’t believe it’s Lunar New Year already. I only had a chance too buy a nice pot of yellow mums, so far!

        I thought of #1 too but argh, I can’t get over how perfect #2 was! At this point I’m kind of like DRAW ALL but I think it might be 2019 by the time I’m done? 😂

          I’m Chinese, too. But we will just do a simple celebration. A couple of dinners here and there. It’s a lot different now that we’re older. Where will you be celebrating?

          I haven’t caught up on all the episodes of Hwayugi so I’m not sure what’s been going on. If #2 is what’s calling out to you, then do that one. And….if you have time, you can do the others. 😀

            Same here, nothing too special besides visiting the elders’ places, but traveling, dressing up and eating takes time so oh well. I’ll be honest and say that LNY isn’t particularly significant to me because it feels too commercialized now.

            I sort of found a better angle of scene #2 and the sketch will go up on my wall now! Pretty excited to have something to draw again. And happy New Year in advance to you!

        Thanks!! I did! Just finished actually! Everything was tied a bit too neatly (it seems everyone got a happily ever after lol) but overall a very feel good drama. Loved the earlier eps with the comedy.

Binge watched E1-4 if I’m Not a Robot and I’m In Love. I’m going to really enjoy watching her see all his vulnerabilities. But why isn’t his allergy triggered when he thinks she’s a robot?

      Before the show premiered, I thought that it was perhaps not a “physical” allergy, like not the whole rashes/difficulty breathing/will die without allergy medicine, but more of a mental thing, a bit like Introverted Boss? But since it’s actually a RASHES EXPLODE EVERYWHERE kind of allergy I was like ??? How does she not trigger him? Is it because his mind is so bent on believing that she’s a robot? Does he gain immunity after touching a person once and he just never dared to try? So many questions!!

        I was actually waiting for the recaps to be up so that I could comment this exact question (I was literally so confused when he grabbed the doctors and had the rashes, because then I couldn’t think of how Ji-ah impersonating a robot would work… but then it did… and I got even more confused…) BUT I was too impatient and decided to just post it on my wall, hehe! I hope it’s answered, but then again… his allergy is a complete mystery to even the doctors. I wonder how they’ll explain it.

    I had the exact same reactions – love the show (the ratings are such a shame!!). It’s got to be a psychosomatic thing, especially since the doc said he’s been looking for a reason for 15 years and his parents died 15 years ago. Also – he can touch things that other people have just touched, so it can’t be a real allergy. He got the reaction from Ji Ah when she was a person, but not when he was convinced she was a robot.

Finished this yesterday and I can safely say that I freaking loved it. It wasn’t so much about revenge, but of 3 women finding their strength through friendship and 1 very cute boy finding family. 💕

    I love it, love how this weird revenge club transformed into a family, I marathoned 10 episodes and got the last 2 left, will post my gifs once I’m done!

      So satisfying to see them take revenge, but even more satisfying to see them become so close and “strangers who are better than family”. So heartwarming, I really enjoyed all the episodes!!

    Of course it’s a stereotype but I honestly don’t think it’s got anything to do with being rich. She was brought up most likely with a household of staff to help cook, and never had to lift a finger. In a way, it’s not unrealistic. I’ve friends who aren’t rich but also can’t cook at all.
