      I have rewatched Goblin once, I think! But the feels are too intense. I’ve rewatched Man X Man ermmmm 4 times omg I’m insane. With the new August challenge to rewatch a drama, I’m thinking of picking one but I can’t decide from my list of favourites! Ahh!

      Yes! I noticed it too while making the gif. I chalked it off to maybeeee lighting issues, but maybe Goblin underpants are magical and change colour too? LOL.

This was such a fantastic read and put into words perfectly what I feel about Yeonsangun and Chaekyung. (And I personally love how he painted the roses red just because she thought they should be.)

    I love that article. Such a shame about Yeonsangun in 7DQ. I just hope that he and his brother will reconcile in the end. He has done terrible things to Yeok that I can’t overlook, no matter how good he is to CK.
    Also LDG is amazing as Yeonsangun thta plays a huge part on the appeal to the character.

      I don’t think it’s possible to overlook all his horrible acts because all the reasons in the world couldn’t justify them, but it breaks my heart to know why he did them. For his father to tell him at that young age that he would ruin Joseon and to turn the throne over to his brother… man, it was a surefire self-fulfilling prophecy. I really didn’t imagine myself even liking Yeonsangun, but SDQ painted such a compelling character for him.

      I just need to brace my heart because so far, CK is the one person who he genuinely feels comfortable around, and he’s going to start suspecting her as well because she needs to protect Yeok. She wants to protect them both, but YSG will only view it as something negative. That’s going to drive the rift between the brothers even more. T_T

        Yes he is a compelling character. Feel bad that his father didnt trust him enough. He may have valid reasons to do so that made him decide that Yeok is a better fit for the role.
        Thats the biggest tragedy of all.. that their father inadvertently put a wedge on his two sons who would’ve been better off working together than apart.

    My thoughts exactly just worded way more eloquently and in so much more depth haha.

    After reading this I feel like I’m a little more on board the ship between Yeosangun and CK rather than her and Yeok. He’s such a vulnerable character and I have such a soft spot for people like that.

      Ya!! When I read it, I was like erpps how did this writer word it so well and so perfectly.

      I’ve been on the YSG ship for a long while but I feel like once he starts going a little more insane I might be jumping ship soon LOL. I have a major soft spot for the baddies who aren’t actually really bad… 😭 and especially when he shows all those sweet moments to CK… For a man who’s obviously never really learnt to be sweet/received affection to be so genuine with her… It just breaks my heart, argh.

      Yes, Sunghoon! But the plot… Argh the plot… I enjoy cliches done right (yes even all his aggressive cold mannerisms) but the last few episodes went from 100 to 0 reallll quick. 😅

        I agree that the last 2-3 episodes were kind of a waste: too many flashbacks written in instead of utilizing the time to flesh out the situation, add depth to it, or even add more depth to the beloved side characters like Hyun Tae, and, dare I say, snooty Hye Ri

She may not have been my favourite in TLAHL but every week I found myself absolutely loving everything about her makeup. Definitely one of my favourite looks in 2017 dramas so far. *u* #kbeauty
