November and December are going to be busy months for Won Bin — at least on the magazine covers.
The Taegukgi actor will be featured in not one, not two, but five well-known Asian fashion magazines in the span of several months. He’s already done one shoot with luxury brand Louis Vuitton for GQ Korea’s October issue, which he shot earlier this summer.
Now he’s also taking the cover for November issues of Singapore’s Nu You and Malaysia’s Men’s Uno, which will contain interviews and photo spreads inside. He’ll also be have six- and seven-page spreads and interviews in Japan’s GQ and Indonesia’s Esquire. And finally, he’ll also be found in the December issue of Esquire in Thailand and Hong Kong.
Won Bin is currently working on the movie Mother, his sole acting project since his army discharge.
Not to be demanding, but Mr. Won Bin, is it too much to ask for a drama? Pretty plz?

Is it just me that noticed this or does Won Bin seem a little angry in most of his pictures. I have not seen a recent picture of him with a genuine smile on his face.

This may sound mean (apologies to WB fans), but I’m totally tired of this depressed look he’s been projecting in ALL his pictorials, magazines, CFs, etc. since he got out from military duty. And please don’t tell me not to look if I don’t like seeing it, because how can I not? It’s like telling me do not read dramabeans. He is everywhere. How can a magazine sell (or any product he is selling for that matter) if he is projecting a very unhappy, don’t wanna-be-here-but-I-have-to face? I remember looking at his picture playing the Wii. He was totally NOT enjoying it and it was actually paintful to look at him. And I play the Wii so I know how exciting it is to play it! Try its simple bowling or the more exciting Guitar Hero. I don’t think the man knows how to smile anymore. It almost wants me to say he has no business posing in the magazine if he will always show that face (but I’ll get in trouble with his fans so I won’t say it…. joke..joke.. LOL). So that’s my rant. If you have a bad day, like I had today, and you open your computer to relax and read, then Won Bin’s eternally sad eyes looks back at you, you probably would feel the same way. And oh, please don’t tell me the photographer or whoever is in charge directs him to do this. Please. I assume he is not stupid to not know this is all he’s been projecting for however long he’s out.

I fell in love with him when I first saw in on screen in Autumn’s Love Story. I thought he had the cutest smile.

i don’t like overly smiling pictures, so i am okay with Won Bin looking sad or a bit pissed off on his photos
side note: there is really a marked similarity between Won Bin and Kimura Takuya, the way they look for me is the epitome of ASIAN HOTNESS..

He is posing for LV fashion. Wouldn’t it weird to have big smiles on professional photoshot? I think Won Bin is one of the most professional among Korean stars for fashion endorsement. Do you see Kimura Takuya and Takeshi Kaneshiro smile alot in their fashion photoshot? Won Bin did smile in his dramas, movies, other CFs. Did you see all the pictures of him playing Wii? He did smile in between, but didn’t smile when he was playing it. Again, wouldn’t it weird to keep a big grin when you have to concentrate playing the Wii on the stage in front of a big screen live. Wouldn’t it look fake to keep on smiling?
There are many pictures of Won Bin smiling. Don’t just judge from a few pictures that he’s not smiling. He looks hot in those LV photoshot.

i like his “No Smile” look magazine photo spread–makes you wanna guess what he is thinking? isn’t that the purpose of those magazine shoots? and of course i love it when i see him smiling on and off camera–
One thing i noticed though from his pictures is that he’s gotten skinnier..I’m thinking maybe his new movie requires him to lose some weight like other actors out there, ie. Jo In Sung (another hottie)

Some of your fans are likely to be depressed due to your frown in the pose…he he. Basically, I like to read your fans’ comments coz I could know how they do feel about you. I think all of them still love you and like you to look attractive in the public, that’s why they critisize your frown in most of your poses. Actually , you have a charismatic smile and I think you’ve known that every of your fans do love your smile. A little bit one is far better than frown..he he.
