Finally, we have news of Lee Min-ho‘s potential next project!
He’s not confirmed for casting, but a rep from his management company said in an interview on the 17th that he is looking favorably at Bad Guy [나쁜 남자], a working title for the new drama from Lee Hyung-min, the PD behind 2004′s melodrama I’m Sorry, I Love You. His rep said, “He plans to make the selection for his next project as quickly as possible, and is looking to decide by the end of this month at the latest.”
Contrasting with his ridiculously rich and pampered Gu Jun-pyo character in the drama that made him famous, Boys Before Flowers, this drama’s hero grew up poor and becomes an action school stuntman. Bad Guy is aiming to hit broadcast airwaves next spring.
Since bursting onto the scene, Lee Min-ho has taken on a number of CFs and endorsement contracts, from mobile phones to beer to clothing and food, but has not taken any acting roles since Boys Before Flowers wrapped in March. If he takes this role, I will be very excited to see him working with a talented director who will show off his actors to their best advantage, unlike what we saw in the insanity (albeit an addictive kind) of Boys. Whether you love or hate Boys, Lee Min-ho was undoubtedly the breakout star, and proved that he has the raw acting talent to go very far — if he makes some smart choices about how to steer his career.
Lee has a Tokyo fanmeeting scheduled for the 26th, and will be leaving for Japan on the 21st.

ugh. why do i have a feeling that it’s a bad decision for him to do this project????
I know Lee Min Ho’s a potential young actor, famous and all… and he needs to take on new projects that he hasn’t done yet so that he could grow up as an actor but then he’s still young… he could still take on light roles, not the heavy ones.
I’ve seen this before with RAIN, remember guys???? After Full House, there was this project similar to this that he took up??? didn’t it flunk???
I’m sorry guys for not saying this but I’m just scared for him…. he should take up more light characters while he’s still young. Well that’s only my opinion

I have to say this “FINALLYYYY”, wah, i wait this for so so long,why he’s not choose It Started from Kiss?. Tired for drama from comics? whatever the drama or film it’s ok for me as long as i can see him with his charm in some actions,real actions i mean, not just CF or photoshoots. But i hope it goes well, not like Rain who take A Love to Kill after his famous drama Full House and end up dissapointing (I agree with u Nicholai), coz i don’t know, may be because his role in that 2 drama is so opposite and extreme. I think in LMH new drama he’s become someone who so opposite with Gu Jun Pyo, wow, you have to be carefull MInno ssii. BTW i’ll always support u, Hwaiting!!!!
Anybody watch Heading to The Ground starred by UKnow and Goh Ara? When i saw that drama i think that drama suppose to be a serial with Macarell Run starred by LMH, Macarell Run is the story about the football player in high school and HTTG is about the football player after he finished his school,try to be a pro soccer player but he failed and try to be success. When I saw HTTG i always think “waw, how about LMH play this drama?” I don’t know he will make the hit or not, but i always think LMH is good for that kind of drama, ha was good in Macarel Run but too bad that drama not make a big hit. Yeah, that’s only what i think. >< V

Lee Min Ho is a good actor. The biggest challenge for him now is to totally shed off the image of Gu Jun Pyo. It seems people always sees him as Jun Pyo. I hope he will not be in the same fate as Hyun Bin and Rain (i mean in terms of the project they chose after a big hit drama).
