I'm all for more Do MinJoon, but I just hope that this extension won't cause the story to drag...I've had bad experiences with extensions......*shudder*

Do min joon practically passes out in fever after a make out session yet he's still going in like a trooper.

Seeing as how they changed the schedule for eps 16/17 to air 30 minutes earlier than usual and it turned out to be successful, perhaps they would do the same for this upcoming week. Although im surprised they've still managed to get such high ratings even with all the olympic shuffling throwing off their momentum. They'd probably have surpassed 30% by now.
When was the last time a rom-com fantasy clocked in those huge numbers? Seriously, YFAS is everywhere in s.korea

I'm hardly complaining about the 1 episode extension because i feel like there's so much more material this writer needs to resolve in the next 4 episodes.

It could go this way; like SY pushing MJ to help her in "confirming" that MJ has turned into a human, or something has happened that allows bodily fluid exchange between them, so she is sure he just hasn't developed immunity to kisses or something. And confirming the practical way.

I've been wanting to watch ever since I read they gonna make a story about alien, and lord behold..they casted KSH n JJH. I still wait 'patiently' each week till the drama is over then I'll start watching it. Now I have to wait for two more weeks.. ? I really hope the writer use her time wisely in the last 4 episode. So far im happy with the pacing and otp development <3 i care more about the psychopath plot now that park hae jin got more screen time. On the other hand, i really hope yoo in na have a chance to shine, she have do little screen time.

cant they close it with 22 or more episodes? there are still things to do...MJ could investigate if there's a connection between SY and his first human love, SY still has to go back and regain her lost reputation caused by YRs death, HK has to stand up against his brother and probably his parents...and SM, surely the writer has other plans for her...there's still a lot, i wonder how they'll resolve all that with just an episode extension...we need more!!!

I don't mind the extension at all. They have so much materials they could go through like some explanations about his home world and MUST HAVE MORE of MJ getting sick (cough cough hint hint to witer-nim).

I've just been enjoying seeing more of her younger brother. That kid is great and needs to be in more dramas. My daughters like him, too. I'm glad to see less of the bickering moms thing. THAT, to me, was causing draggage. Wait, is draggage even a word?

Normally I'll say nooo for extension, it's a huge mess and dragging even one more episode isn't doing any good But I'm totally fine here! I mean how many times we'll get to see Jeon Ji hyun on drama!

if theyre going to extend it, I hope they talk more about the alien rules, if song yi is the Joseon's girl reincarnation or shes a relative/its a coincidence and why min joon thinks he would die or talk about jae kyung and give SeMi some scenes -yes, I still like Semi!!- because I wish they could give her some scenes with a guy that really likes her -since her crush was her main plot- Im kinda sad her character had like NO depth! when Song yi fell, I thought they would make her grow but they didnt. the writers have used lot of time on flashbacks when they could actually give her some scenes...

This drama is so popular in Asia right now it's not even funny. Celebrities in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc are spazzing about this on sns. It's top-searched on weibo everyday. Its no surprise that sbs would want to extend this. Usually, i'm against extensions but i dont think i would mind watching another ep of JJH and her craziness XD

Well, not surprising due to the popularity, but the last thing this drama needed was an extension (already too many dragging parts).

I think if the drama can get to the fan service without MJ dropping dead, then will I be able to focus on other equally interesting parts of the story! I just can't right now. Lol!
But it is so true that the writer has a few things to wrap up nicely for this drama to be really good. Extension or not, I sure hope it ends on a high and not crumble into a disfunctional mess!

I know I am probably a rare breed here who's getting a bit tired of the lovey-dovey moments. Don't get me wrong, I love the main couple, and they are cute, but episode 17 simply dragged, and I even dozed off. (Don't shoot, we can disagree - you're winning already cuz producers are listening to the romantic majority not to me^^) . Yes, they love each other, they kissed, confessed, rolled in the bed... time to move on to more interesting things. I'd love to see a richer plot , a bit more focus on other characters, like SM and HK, the lawyer friend, the young prosecutor... They are all awesome actors but all we see is the main couple ( I guess when you have Jeon Jihyun you must give her all the screen time that you possibly can/ or that she demands). It's a pity in a way, because others are awesome, too.

So next Thursday, Do Min Jun has to go to the Olympics again.

I wish that in episode 18, the bad hyung's problem will be solve already so that the remaining episodes will be about the aliens and the angst of whether Min Joon can stay or not.

Also, can i wish that all the Aliens be as good looking or maybe more than Min Joon (if ever that's possible). I remember him saying Earthlings are prejudiced when it comes to Aliens. Maybe they can guest those Aliens in the sitcom "Vampire Idol", ie. Lee Soo-hyuk, Kim Woo-bin and Hong Jong-yeon. You can throw in some tall models too, if you like =), and why not Lee Jung-Jae for the head alien?

I don't think thursday will go to the olympics. South Korea didn't even make it to the semi-finals.

for the fact that min joon and song yi are in the movie its a blast ;)
