I saw DOSTANA, too, but I'm sure it'll be nothing of that sort even though the original content are similar. And although Priyanka is also capable, I believe Son Ye Jin is a more accomplished, mature, and not to forget-versatile actress in comparison.

Either way, I am confident that Son Ye Jin will manage well in her new role but I am hoping the chemistry won't lack with Lee Min Ho. I absolutely dreaded BOYS OVER FLOWERS but tolerated him because his chemistry in his CASS commercial with Dara.

I love SYJ alot!!! she is the best actress u can find in korea and blessed with beauty too. and i also do love the concept of this drama. and i like LMH alot too! he's so lucky to get this chance to act with her. its really a great chance for him to boost up his career once he get the chance to work with an A list actress.

but... the pairing is quite doesnt match for me.. the age gap, i mean. i dont care (in fact i find it hot) about the gap if the man is older than the woman.. but.. ehhmmmm.. :(

What great news that the female lead has been named for "Personal Taste."
I'm pretty new to kdramas, but although I've never seen this actress in any other
drama, the 100+ comments here seem to think that she's right for this role.

But let me get this straight ~
THERE'S NO JAPANESE VERSION FILM OF "PERSONAL TASTE?"
NO TAIWAN VERSION? NO PREVIOUS COMIC BOOK (MANGA) VERSION?
HOORAY!!!

So this puppy will be judged by what........these actors......do in this film?
Without the gazillion comparisons in the comments that were written
here and elsewhere about "Boys Before Flowers?" HOORAY AGAIN!!!

Anyway, interesting choice of female lead...I'm one of those party poopers who isnt too happy on the older female/young male pairing BUT it doesn't mean I'm not going to check this one out (ofcourse duh - LEE MIN HO) but yea, It'll definately be interesting....

i like both leads, i am more excited for this drama now. SYJ is pretty funny, she was in a movie called The Art Of Seduction with Song Il Kook (not sure of his name), i had no idea she was so hilarious. can't wait, this is a must see.

HECK YAAHHHHH!!! She's one of my favorite Korean actresses. I haven't seen her in any dramas thought but loved all the movies I've seen from her: Classic, A Moment To Remember, Lover's Concerto and The Art of Seduction. I'm definitely going to watch Personal Taste. When is it coming out?

@theindiangirl I have no idea what "Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayange" means n(even though I own that movie) so I'm not sure I can translate that one! But it would also make an excellent KDrama/Kmovie! I don't speak either Hindi or Korean (though I am trying to learn the latter). I'm just an Afro-Caribbean girl who somehow got sucked into the fun fun world of Hindi movies and KDramas! But, my great-great grandparents were all most likely immigrants from India, if that counts for anything.

I have gay close friends, and I had always considered having such friends in my life since I was little, so I am really thankful receiving these guys in my current situation; so much less headache than the average guy who have broken my heart over and over. Why? You know the drill... it's a choice: Mature man vs Immature boy.

This will be interesting to watch... I really want to know if this script will correspond to any of my real episodes of living.

OMG!! Initially i didnt want to watch this drama.. But after seeing it on the top charts for so many weeks i was hooked! Watched 6 ep in one night.. Couldnt stop..Honestly, I didnt think that LMH's potential was tapped to the max in BOF.. but Personal Pref is the ultimate! Its great so far..Cant wait for the future eps..
