Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, best wishes and warm hugs to everyone here in the OT! I'm reading each and every comment but I feel too tired after all these Christmas preparations to write much.
Looks like it's going to be aa "green Christmas" here since snow (and rain) was sparse this year, but I don't mind much since I'm home and spending lots of time indoors.
Song of the day:

Most annoying/least favourite song of the day: any version of "Winter Wonderland".
Currently watching: lots of oldies + Hong Kong drama "Beauty Knows No Pain".

Gawwww!!! I'm so late to the OT, but I just had to share my love of Can You Hear My Heart. I restarted watching it the other day at episode 9 and I'm already on 15. I LOVE Dong-Ju, Young-gyu, Woo-ri, hyemoni (grandma), Seong-chul, and I simultaneously want to slap and hug Ma-ru. CYHMH is like reuniting with a long lost loved one. You hurt for all the years you missed together, but are so glad you can finally be together. ....sigh of contentment....Kdramas are good.

I had hoped for more kissing at the end, but it was still terrific, even with final scene with Wo Ri's grandmother.
Their first kiss is still pegged in my book as the cutest of the year, especially his reaction once he's alone.

-- But not the creepy (but good) drama "White Christmas".
lol
It's 62 degrees in Virginia, USA, so not likely for a White Christmas. Still, I have vanilla ice cream and a lot of amaretto, so it'll still be good!

Hello OT family!
I have been popping in to read these comments.
Wishing everyone a safe holiday if you are celebrating and a wonderful winter day if it is winter where you are and a wonderful summer day if it is summer!
(Did I cover everything?)
I am reporting that I did NOT get my tragus pierced but my 16 year old did. She held my hand, just like she did for her ear piercing when she was 10. Awwwww! She still needs me!

Hi DBers! Just dropped by to check the latest recaps and this thread before going out of town (with a laptop and a stack of K-dramas) to spend Christmas with some friends. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas, Dramabeaners/OTers everywhere! May the holidays be filled with cheer and love for you and yours.
I am spending the holidays in Hong Kong (away from humid Manila) with my daughter. We are watching The Nutcracker at the HK Cultural Center tonight.
Loved the FBRS ending. For Christmas, I am looking forward to watching the final episode of TwDR. Though I am a bit apprehensive about how it will end, after reading some of the posts here.
HUGS to ALL!!!! Mwah! Mwah! Mwah!

Omigosh, I totally posted in the wrong OT. I blame Twitter. Anywho, back to my normal ranting…
Happy Weekend and Merry Christmas, DB family! No idea what my online time is going to be like this weekend. I’m seeing a play w/my mother, then we’re getting together with family friends. We’re doing church on Sunday, per usual, but I dunno if we’re going to our usual or to my uncle’s. Still and all, it’ll be an interesting weekend.
Re my love life (the only reason ppl read my posts )… Remember the Smokin’ Hot Italian guy? Well he’s been downgraded to merely hot now that his tan has faded, but, uh, he may be interested in me? The CSG will have a better idea. The three of us were talking during the holiday party. I’m sure I’m imagining things, tho, b/c he’s still pretty freakin’ hot (with a deep voice) even w/o the tan.
Still haven’t seen moe than half of ep 1 of Padam Padam :’( Luckily it’s a long weekend. *HUGS to all*

How good is Padam Padam? I can't believe I'm watching a Melo and loving it but such is the case! So entertaining without being weepy and ridiculous.
Also, Color of Woman is awesome as well. The recappers over here are sleeping on some very good dramas. Right now, granted, there are only so many hours in the day but don't miss the boat, ladies.

I share your feelings about PP ( and i don't like melo either ) and COW. Very Good ( until now... I've been so disappointed in screwed endings in 2011, that i'm starting to be more cautious. )
Now, about slow recaps ans subs i suppose we must blame end of the year + the number of shows currently airing. According to koreandrama : 36 at the time wich is huge even if you consider the finishing ones. This is insane ! Drastic choices ahead for viewers, and dramas left on the side of the road to predict.

IT'S GOOD! WATCHING EVERY EPISODE AS IT COMES OUT!
lol - Seriously, I like it so far. Gang Chil's attempt to make sense of the events around him and relate to other people is portrayed so well with that big-eyed look by Jung Woo-sung. I do wish people would stop trying to Car Fu him into oblivion, though.
