  1. If you guess this, you’ll have good luck for ten years

Hi, I need help from fellow Beanies to find this particular drama/movie/possibly manhwa. It is a funny story related to chain/cursed letter. The female lead gives the male lead said letter and somehow the male lead gets into an accident. The female lead feels very guilty about it (she thinks the letter caused the accident) and I think she starts getting close to the male lead to make up for her mistake. Thank you!

  2. Crazy smart

Hi guys! I cannot seem to get this scene out of my head. I don’t know if it’s a drama or a movie. I briefly saw a scene where a woman was locked up in some kind of mental hospital or something. I think it was her mother-in-law who locked her up. And then she tries to escape or something and I kind of remember her going inside the men’s restroom to seek help and slipped her ring in his pocket so that she could use his phone.

What is this drama? I would really like to watch it! Thank you!

  3. Robot students

I think it was about 6 months ago that I saw a video on YouTube about a drama that seemed interesting, but I forgot the title and cannot find the video anymore. I think it was Chinese or Korean. So from what I remember there were 3 middle or high school kids who became friends. But they were all like really advanced robots who (I think) could feel emotions etc. One of the guys grew up not knowing he was a robot. He probably figured it out when he met the other two guys. They became bests friends. But (spoiler) I believe one of them died in the end. Not sure though. Oh and I believe there was something strange about their eyes… they could have another colour sometimes or something like that. Or that might be another drama.

  4. The winter bestfriend

Hello. I suddenly remembered a scene from either a drama or a movie I watched years ago. All I remember is the part during winter. The male lead has changed his identity to help his childhood guy friend. This guy friend doesn’t seem to know who he is and thought that the best friend he had during childhood had already died. I really need to finish this drama/movie. Please help me find it.

  5. Fast food regrets

There’s this recent drama just in the past year or two or three? I can’t remember if he is the lead but there’s a guy who’s a really bad brother or son. After fighting with his family, he goes to a red-colored fast food place. I think it was burger or chicken… The tables and walls etc were all red. He sees families being happy all around him and remembers his little siblings and feels sad. I know this is very vague but since the PPL isn’t Subway, this should narrow down the choices to half a dozen dramas lol. Please help me remember which drama is this. Thanks!

Thanks for playing, everyone — till next time!

I used to think I never got these because I was a drama newbie but now I've been watching dramas for three years and still never get these. The last one sounds kind of familiar though.

Hehe, even though I have been watching dramas for a long time, I still most of the time get none of these. 😅

#2. "Crazy smart" is Korean drama "Hundred Year Inheritance" starring Eugene Kim & Lee Jung Jin

Yes I second this! Still remember this scene clearly. It's some kind of makjang weekend drama though, wouldn't have persisted to the end if it wasn't for Eugene and lee jung jin.

I literally fast forwarded everything and only watched their parts.... Made no impact on my understanding of the overall story ☺️

I don't know the answer to #3) Robot Students, but what kind of YT video gives away a major spoiler like that??? 😂(hopefully one with huge flashing neon sign for spoiler alert!)

I wonder what kind of "friendship algorithm" an AI engineer would program into a robot. Would a robot ever refuse to befriend a non-hostile human or robot?

It sounds like a promo for the upcoming Chinese remake of "Humans".

#1 sounds like the Taiwanese movie "Our Times." When the male lead figures out who sent the chain letter, he blackmails and guilts her into helping him with school work and getting the girl he likes. In the process, they get close and fall in love. I rewatched it recently since it stuck with me, mostly since I found the main lead to be really charismatic.

That was my guess too :) Plus it's just such a great movie overall that it wouldn't hurt the asker to check it out. Hehe

I say the same. Good movie to check out even if it isn't the correct one, but I think it is.

I was disapointed that the adult actors weren't the same than the young ones. I wanted a real reunion :(

YES!!! Me too. Especially since the older ones seemed to lack the same spark and charisma.

Yes, that and it's not like the original actors were not old enough to play the adult part. The change of actors was not usefull in this case and we didn't see them enough to like them as the original ones.

I actually enjoyed the adult counterparts for their throwback power. Hehe... The project was sort of a pop-culture homage thingy (like the Answer Me series), so the adult counterparts were a bit of a nod to fans of TW-shows. Though I can see how it's a bit disappointing if you look at the show as a standalone movie.

@mary I like Joe Cheng and Jerry Yan as actors. But the story was already frustrating because they never could tell to each other their feelings, so it added more frustration that I can't see the original actors. But I really liked this movie.

I feel like I've seen #4 but can't remember what it was :(

It must be a revenge type of show for the main lead to show up near his friend like that but not reveal himself.

I thought the description was pretty vague until you guessed the drama. Now that I think of it, the whole drama revolved around Mei Changsu's bromance with his cousin Prince Jing (and his revenge and justice for his father and comrades).

It is definitely NiF and the description above is pretty apt for the entire show.

#1. The first one is a Taiwanese movie called Our Times.
#2. I think is Hundred year inheritance starring Eugene. Her mother in law sticks her into an asylum. I never thought I'd say that happen, LOL.

#1 I think is the Taiwanese movie Our Times. The female lead sends a chain letter to the male lead who gets into an accident because he stopped on a road while reading the chain letter and was hit by a vehicle. However, the female lead was forced to serve the male lead out of fear and not of guilt?

Number two is the absolutely crazy One Hundred Year Inheritance. I have to say, I really liked a lot of that drama. It was super salty, though. Number 4 reminds me of two dramas I saw recently, but that's not enough info for me to narrow it down.

#4 Could be Nirvana in Fire if only that wasn't an Ancient China Period drama :( You're probably asking about a contemporary-settled drama.
