Little Boy - 1215k - 1st week November

1275k - 19 November - looks far off but quite possible.

This rally has all the momentum and fun season is just starting now.
This momentum will remain intact for many upcoming months.

Busy Busy Busy - too many shows, not much time. Better skip and drop.
Election week - Ready as a stock trader. volatility is what pushes you into a corner and the return is whatever investment and profit you save from losses than generating some.

Election time - live aka real fun. There are many who consider politics too -ve a profession. Can attach as many -ve adjectives with it bu they easily forget good governance doesn't fall from heaven. State - responsibilities, rights, seeking good governance all encompass politics.

As for fun - I'm reminded me the makeover of Dramabeans where existed a thumbsdown too. hehe
In the time of a show where a korean had gone to Middle east and became rich and had 1st 2 clownly episodes that pissed off few virtual identities. At the time also the expression was -ve representation of muh culture. That show had comments full of aggressive whataboutery. But that's how a virtual world turns entertaining.
As for Thumbsup and down - If 1 can remain then why can't the other. Both compliments each other. What kind of mental state u have that u get affected by a few likes/dislikes/shares. No one should get attached to fictional things so much. You expect better from adults. Ofcourse, dozen of articles can be presented to rove how much virtual world and its arttifacts have influence on humans but i expect better from adults. In my views it looks act of fickle mind and clear cut weak mentality. Many minds, many views.

Call it fickle mind or weak mentality or whatever you may but a negative comment, remark, expression on the internet works the same way as someone has said that to you in person. It does affect and hurt, however in this case, the commenter doesn't have enough courage to give that remark on your face, they can easily hide behind hence they say everything so nonchalantly but in real life many people would think twice before saying or expressing anything bad on your face. People have committed suicide on negative remarks so this isn't sth to be taken lightly and just because sth doesn't affect you, doesn't mean it never affects anyone else as well, so we can't just let sth wrong be because one person has no issue with it, while it affects and hurts many.

happy friday beanies ◡̈

no dramas for me for the past two weeks— but hopefully, that will change tuesday. i’ve finished 4 college applications due nov 1, i just have a few supplemental essays to write for a college due nov 15. i thought that i’d be free-ish this week, but i currently have two projects due today that were assigned wednesday, and a test and a paper due monday T_T but i don’t have school on tuesday, thursday, or friday, so i’m hoping to either finish my essays then or *finally* finish BTIMFL @mindy !!! i also have to finish FMW, and start and complete so many more (the list keeps growing too)

the past week has been quite hellish. i’m hoping i will just have some more free time after this. my next two applications (after the 15th) are due nov 30 and dec 1. everything else is due jan 1— and there are a few colleges that have overlapping essays (why this major?) or don’t have supplementals that i’m hoping i can submit earlier than that. i feel like october has been very slow but fast at the same time— school just seems to drag, but my weekends seem like not enough time to complete essays in, and i can’t believe october’s done already, today actually marks that i’m 20% done with my senior year! part of that makes me shudder, but i can’t WAIT to be done with this application process!!! after jan 1, it is binge city from there *evil cackle*

fun fact: this november 6th officially marks the fifth anniversary of reply 1988’s first ep!! will be rewatching the show, but as the episodes released heehee

as always, love and hwaiting beanies! stay safe and i wish you all happiness ◡̈

So I dropped Alice, and now just watching 18 Again and Zombie Detective. Zombie Detective is sooo funny, I haven't laughed out loud for a drama in such a long time.
The First episode reminded me a lot of Warm Bodies English zombie movie.
For 18 Again, it such a good quality , everything makes sense in the world, and I loved the recent episodes where the main leads kissed. Also is it me, or I've noticed that whenever a female lead is ahem "excited", they always make the actress dart there eyes really quickly from left to right. I love it, but started noticing it more and more in asian dramas. Never seen or noticed in western or american shows or movies.

I think I'm going to have to start Zombie Detective. So much good feedback.

I've seen the eye thing translated as "your eyes are shaking" to indicate excitement or nervousness. Not sure if that's the same thing you mean though?

I had my exams this month. One last exam and I will be free. I have lots of dramas lined up to watch. So much that I don't have time for all. This week was the first time since March I had icecream, oh how I missed it. Oh and I went ahead and created a blog for kdramas. https://amruta1009.blogspot.com

When drama show plots turn into a real story, it is stunning. From the Korean Herald:

South Korea's telecommunications regulator on Friday ordered a six-month suspension of services for cable TV channel MBN for accounting fraud in an unprecedented heavy punishment of a broadcaster in the country.

The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) said MBN manipulated its balance sheet in 2011 to conceal a portion of the capital raised under borrowed names of its employees.

MBN's move was part of its plans to raise 300 billion won, the minimum requirement to acquire a license to operate a general programming cable TV network.

The regulator added that the cable channel submitted falsified documents for its license's reapproval in 2014 and 2017.

The cable channel will be given a six-month grace period before being suspended from May through October.

As a big fan of Extraordinary You, I was surprised they did a talk "concert" with the PD and the 3 main actors today.

For a drama without famous actors neither writer/PD and that didn't have high ratings, it will have been talked about a lot. I'm very happy for the production and the actors :)

Penthouse became one of the most expensive K-dramas. It's 27 billion won and I'm totally shook.

Kim Soon-ok was one of the greatest K-drama writers and he's still continued his success with his one of his greatest achievement: the ratings. Penthouse: War in Life was reached 10% during the second episode.

Given the lavish setting of Penthouse, I suspect that a large portion of that 27 million were set expenses. Could not have been cheap to rent/lease the settings for the drama.

Hi beans!!!

My long wait has ended~~~ Kairos premiered this week 🥳. But now I have to wait for new eps 😅.

I enjoyed ep 1 and 2, I'm being cautious and try not to be too excited as I've seen too many dramas start strong and then went down in flames. I hope Kairos remains as exciting and as intriguing throughout it's run. I really like the editing, transitions and camera work. I hope they keep doing the title card and end card for each ep, it's so stylish and cool. I like them both but I like DDSSLLS better cause of the ensemble of quirky characters in the drama. The main characters are interesting and the way the writer portray the characters has a magic touch. I personally like Lee Jae wook. He has a knack of showing some nuance.
Start UP is also interesting and it has an interesting set up( building an AI company )and I must say the last eps was very funny.

I can't get myself to finish Stranger 2. My favourite actors/characters in the dramas most likely are going to be the corrupted ones. I paused at episode 15, will pick it up later once I'm ready.
Last week I started Camelia Blooms, at episode 9 now. I really enjoy it. Gosh, the male lead is so adorable, I think I have a bit crush on him. Really don't like the creepy waitress, the one who work with Dong Baek at Camelia. I FF most of her scenes. I understand the purpose of her character, but she's beyond annoying now with stalking and blackmailing.

Although real life has been so all-consuming the last few weeks I've almost been on hiatus anyway.

The big news is that a) I'm taking two weeks of work and b) the borders are open so I'm going to my island for those two weeks. I admit that I'm investing a lot of expectation in a mere 14 days, it may not be enough to come down from the stress of everything that's going on.

I can't believe it's the last day of October. #OctobINAR is finishing up today and then it's a short bumpy ride to the end of 2020. Can't wait.

Tomorrow's Halloween 🎃 👻

I usually don't participate in giving out Trick-or-Treating candies. Decided to give it a try this year. Put up a couple small tables out on the driveway with "individually bagged treats for kids to take".

We are near the end of the street so Halloween traffic was normally light. We'll see how this year goes.

It’s pretty safe, but trick or treating isn’t really a thing here in NZ...it’s gradually becoming a bit bigger but a lot of people (like me) see it as an American thing/commercial exercise and don’t really participate. Hello Beanies!

I hope youre all doing well!

As for me, I think Im coming down with something. My chest feels all stuffy and I fall asleep the second I come home from work.

Ive been rediscovering my delight in cooking. This week I made chili and tomato soup (from scratch!!) two breakfast casseroles (one for me and one for a work meeting) and the filling for breakfast burritos. I read somewhere that tortilla shells dont freeze well so you make the filling in advance, and then while it's getting warm in the microwave you toast up the tortilla (however you do that-- I put the tortilla right on the eye and flip it until its pliable and smells yummy). Then you build your burrito adding some hot sauce and avocado and wrap the whole thing in aluminium foil. Ive also remembered how very much I hate doing dishes. I still need a few things. A bakers rack to hold canned goods and appliances as I dont have the cabinet space for these things. And a bathroom tower. No linen closet.

My couch remains amazing. So comfortable! I fall asleep there most nights (again, as soon as I get home from work). I am BEYOND behind in my drama watching as my tv with internet access is upstairs and 5 nights out of 7 Im conked out downstairs!

Work remains...whatever. My manager has been ...nice?...to mw these last two or three weeks and I do NOT understand. I keep waiting for the shoe to drop. Ive been meeting with a career counselor who has told me that his behavior towards me is more than just rude or insensitivity. Its harassment and after she helps me find a new job if I want shell put me in contact with a lawyer who will help me sue him and the library.

My friends husband has covid. Ive been helping her find resources: help with bills, food, mortgage and I know shes scared but she is being SUCH A JERK that I swear when I see one of her texts I just want to ignore her.

My dad is so freaked out by how horrible everything is that even though I deliberately got this apartment in case we have to shelter in place but he refuses to leave his house. I understand him being scared but I wish hed come here anyway. He habitually loses his phone or just decides not to answer and we wont hear from him for weeks. Goodness I hate this. The library hosted free covid tests today. Stressful! Everyday were getting emails tbat someone else has it but wete inviting all of these potential carriers right to our building!

Any way. Im all locked in for the weekend and am looking forward to watching something in another language!

I hope you are as well! Pandemic fatigue is so real. But everytime I think that Ive reached it-- I find a new rockbottom. We were the host site for free testing yesterday. Which is good for the community except everyday it seems were breaking our one day record high every other day amd we still have to tell people to put their mask on, stop touching everything, and maintain their distance everyday. I work in a fairly bug librarian system and everyday it seems there are emails announcing people at this branch and that branch have covid. Tired.

Yay for the new place working out! I agree that your boss might be law suit worthy, but it takes concrete proof (like that horrible email and ordering you back to work before you were cleared by a doctor). Stay safe.

Ive been documenting everything since basically my 2nd month here but even with concrete proof I wouldnt sue. Doesnt seem worth it. And even with all of my documentation seems too hard to prove. Maybe if I were fired.

It would probably be a lot of work for little to no pay off.

I extremely love my dearest madam Erika Sawajiri, when she acts in the one litter of tears as a junior secondary school pupil ((a so beautiful and amorous and cute and vivacious Japanese adolescent girl)). I wish my future lovers and wives were alike her adolescence times as well.
Because I extremely love so freethinker and belle and caring and vivacious and easygoing and liberal,…adolescent girls alike my love madam Erika Sawajiri in her adolescence times, that is showed in this series, for marriage and lovemaking as my future wives and lovers everlasting!
Junior secondary school pupils alike my love aya, the series protagonist, and smaller are very superb girls as my future lovers and wives eternally!
I wish I could have a lot of lass and little and belle and amorous adolescent wives and lovers alike my love Erika Sawajiri in her adolescence times (aya)! Of course it seems that this series has so heartrending and tragic end too. I have watched its first episode enthusiastically hitherto. Kiss my love madam Erika Sawajiri(aya) and her co-stars from far distance on my behalf a lot. I wish I met her and my other lovely superstars in Japan and other countries in my longevity a lot.
It says the one litter of tears series has been excerpted from a Japanese teen girl real life too!
I extremely adore this series!
Becuse when I see it as if I haven’t watched a film, instead I were looking a family ,…real life! Although I have looked at its 4 episodes hitherto.
In any case, this series watching gave me a very distress.
Becuse I share myself with this series teen protagonist heartrending life in amid of adventures chronologically!
A so lovely teen girl that admire and worship life, in spite of times oppressed her a lot.
This series main theme is about life worship and I extremely accept and acclaim this series proper theme!
These kinds of adorable series are rare! Fortunately I have seen a lot of other very interesting Japanese series with these kinds of themes from long years ago so far. And I love these kinds of genres a lot.
Since my childhood era I've been japans series lover and fan!

Fortunately I am watching it without dubbing.
Of course I don’t know that I watched the series without censorship or not and this matter annoy me as before a lot.
Becuse I severely detest censorship!
Unfortunately previously I watched dubbing series with censorship!
Becuse from my standpoint films and series,…dubbing and censorship
Decrease their artistically aesthetics a lot and ruin them considerably too.
Instead I love to watch original films and series with subtitle and without
Censorship!
I severely oppose with dubbing! And I believe on a dubbed film or series,…is very worthless!
In any case, the one litter of tears series that it says it has been adapted from a Japanese family real life, is very heartrending and attractive and admirable and informative!
I love natural lifestyles a lot.
And in most of Japanese series and films, this...

I found a couple of pirate sites that have it, never made it past 1.5 episodes. The Chinese remake is REALLY bad.

Last week finally had tym in the past six months to binge-watch a series and so I did. Watched Search www; which was on my radar for a long time. Loved it, Was surprised by how technical it was; I thought it would be more based in relationship and girl friendship. Nonethelss, super enjoyable.
