Drama viewership ratings for the week of Aug. 9-15, 2021

After many weeks of being pre-empted, youth drama Racket Boys finally came to an end. The show wrapped up with 4.6 percent, its highest rating being 6.2 percent. In the same time slot, we also had the premiere of Police University, coming in with 5.2 percent and then 6.5 percent the next day.
As for our other shows, they seem to be getting back on track. Hospital Playlist and Penthouse both saw a nice jump from last week, with 13.1 percent and 18.8 percent respectively. Then, there was Nevertheless, trudging along as always. The drama is ending next week, though, so who knows, maybe more will tune in to see how this train wreck goes.

It truly pains me that people may put You Are My Spring and Nevertheless in the same bucket even though they could not be more different except for similar ratings debacles...

So seriously, only one comment? I thought I was the only person on the planet who questioned my love of K-dramas. Okay I'll hang in with HP2 but barely. Love the high school shaman but frankly watching ALONE, Arctic reality survival.

If you look at the chart, there are less network and major cable channel shows. More and more new shows are on streaming platforms which are not part of traditional ratings systems.
