Is Shadow Detective 1 worth watching first, I haven't seen either?
The best thing about Reborn Rich was Lee Sung-min, he stole the show with his phenomenal acting.
Is it the same with this show?

I did enjoy S1, encountered it while browsing my Disney+.
Love their 4 buddies before most of them end up corrupting 🥲.
Cross finger this season will progress a tad faster than previous one.

I enjoyed the first season, but didn’t watch past episode 1 of the second season. A big draw of the first season was the cat-and-mouse game between the main character and the mystery caller. It seems the second season lost this tension and is just going to be about figuring out who was truly behind all of the corruption…? I also didn’t remember anything regarding that part of the plot so my interest has waned. They really shouldn’t have broken it up into 2 seasons.

Until the last two or three episodes was mostly boring, but the ending was great with lots of flashbacks to past events and interesting backstory.

Season 1 was okay. Despite the eye-rolling ending. Season 2 was less than good even thanks to the writer. The story was getting less interesting by each episode. We just served with a bunch of baddies without backstory for us to understand their choice of actions. It seemed like the writer said, 'Let's just throw in some power hungry men for the hero to catch.' Even more irritating to me was the fact that there were 2 baddies with same goal and same MO. Come on, that was a lazy move. I tried to watch through the end, but I dozed off. I couldn't bring myself to finish it.

I had to drop this drama. It just wasn't compelling to continue. I TRIED but I just had to let it go.
