Nope. That's the wrong kind of tweet. Or am I supposed to call it "x" now?

In "The Sorrows of Young Werther" by Goethe, Lottchen drives Werther half mad by kissing a bird. I have adapted the pronouns:

"Here is a new friend," he observed, while he made it perch upon his hand: "Look at it! When I feed it, he flutters with its wings, and pecks so nicely. It kisses me, too, only look!"

He held the bird to her mouth; and it pressed his sweet lips with so much fervour that it seemed to feel the excess of bliss which it enjoyed.

"It shall kiss you too," he added; and then he held the bird toward me. Its little beak moved from his mouth to mine, and the delightful sensation seemed like the forerunner of the sweetest bliss.

"A kiss," I observed, "does not seem to satisfy it: it wishes for food, and seems disappointed by these unsatisfactory endearments."

"But it eats out of my mouth," he continued, and extended his lips to the bird containing seed; and he smiled with all the charm of a being who has allowed an innocent participation of his love.

I turned my face away. He should not act thus. He ought not to excite my imagination with such displays of heavenly innocence and happiness, nor awaken my heart from its slumbers, in which it dreams of the worthlessness of life! And why not? Because he knows how much I love him.

A Bird, came down the Walk -
He did not know I saw -
He bit an Angle Worm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw,

And then, he drank a Dew
From a convenient Grass -
And then hopped sidewise to the Wall
To let a Beetle pass -

He glanced with rapid eyes,
That hurried all abroad -
They looked like frightened Beads, I thought,
He stirred his Velvet Head. -

Like one in danger, Cautious,
I offered him a Crumb,
And he unrolled his feathers,
And rowed him softer Home -

Than Oars divide the Ocean,
Too silver for a seam,
Or Butterflies, off Banks of Noon,
Leap, plashless as they swim.

So is he a demon in the show? He is supposed to be bad, isn’t he?

They start off by interpreting it in a mix with its original, or at least older meaning which was different kinds of spirits and gods, really. Because those using the words were non-Christians, like so many other deities it came to mean BAD MAGIC CREATURE in the Bible.
In this show, they said something like "part of a human", but he does the usual devil or Rumplestiltkin thing of making deals in exchange for people's souls.
