Reasons to watch: Once promising to be a cute rom-com a la MBN’s previous sageuk hit Bossam: Steal the Fate, but then switching the tone of its promos to more political-mystery-thriller, I confess I’m not sure what to expect from this drama anymore. But the writing team from Bossam is indeed present, as is the PD that brought us Rebel – Thief Who Stole the People. In terms of the storyline, Suho is playing our MIA crown prince, and Hong Ye-ji (straight off Love Song for Illusion) is his kidnapper. *Sparks fly, because K-drama* She plans to marry him, but we all know the palace officials will have some strong objections.

TL;DR: Crown Prince Suho is kidnapped by a woman intending to marry him

So... the delay may have been a brilliant marketing strategy after all. We're sitting here in a 2-3 week gap before the flood of new dramas in May. I am hesitantly throwing my hat into this ring... I'll give it the 4-episode try out.

Agreed. The lack of dramas to watch might entice us to give the drama a shot. But I am wary of the cast. I couldn't stand either leads.

Y'all do you, but it is 20—twenny!!—episodes long, and just look at the difference in tone between the poster at the top of this page and the images @missvictrix used in the post! This show has absolutely no idea what it is going to be, and it’s going to dwell in that indecision for almost an entire solar day!

I mean, I guess I should be thanking you, @zindigo and @lapislazulii, for being the canaries in the coal mine rather than trying to convince you to stay safe 😉😌😛

Your line cracked me up. But is there a little tiny bit of hope that the promotion was done badly and the show may turn out nice? I mean, with the writer of Bossam and the director of Rebel, it would be disappointing and frustrating if this turns out awful.

Since I've been watching some 40-episode c-dramas of late, it suddenly seems reasonable 😂 I've been pretty vocal about my issues with this drama from the get-go. I'm just sayin'.... 2-3 gap where it has an opportunity to prove itself... or get ditched when May comes 😀

no same HAHAHAH this is where I'm at too, I rewatched Immortal Samsara not too long ago and that was like 50 something episodes and felt three lifetimes long 😆
Either I continue this after ep 4 because it's genuinely good, because it's a train wreck and I can't stop myself OR I've grown up and dropped it when I'm actively not enjoying it - let's see what happens! We shall report back @attiton 🫡 and hoping your curiosity does win over and we see you there @kdrama-bunny hehhehe

I get you girl! These days i rejoice if dramas are 12 episodes. I get suspicious if they’re 8 episodes, unless there’s a confirmed release date for the dreaded part 2

I've seen the second male lead in some web-dramas and smaller roles in dramas and he always seemed "cute" to me. I don't usually use this type of word because it seems infantile to describe a person, but this word fits him perfectly.
