I randomly clicked on A PIECE OF YOUR MIND. I thought the first episode was lovely and different to the usual kdrama fare. Chae Soo Bin’s acting is so natural.

OMO OMO OMO! This show is amazing! I hope you will like it. You might find it a bit weird at first, but it is actually amazing if you give it a chance. After about episode 4, it really delivers! It was one of my top three romance dramas for 2020.

Thank you for the encouraging comment… I checked out the recap thread and beanie comments were quite negative, so I was feeling lonely for liking it so far (I’m on episode 4 now!)

IDK, I loved this show. I think there was a small but committed contingent of Beanies who also loved this show. It’s a bit of an odd one and lots of people were disoriented by the beginning (which, I’ll admit, was sort of meh from my perspective as well), but it consistently gets better episodes 3 or 4 through 12 are great IMO. Seo-woo and Ha-won are such an adorable couple.

I loved this show from the first scene to the last. Although we are a minority, we are loud in our love.

I’m someone else who loved this show. :o) I think it suffered a bit from having its total number of episodes cut, but overall, I think it posed such thought-provoking questions about love and grief. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

If you don’t mind spoilers, I cannot recommend highly enough that you check out @LeeTennant‘s blog post about this show: https://invisibledragon.home.blog/2020/04/30/a-piece-of-your-mind-a-beautiful-ethereal-study-of-grief/ It really helped me understand and appreciate the show even more, and the insights she shared about grief resonated with me deeply. Definitely check it out after you finish, if you don’t before. :o)

Yay! I’m really happy that you’re enjoying it! Because of your post, I listened to the OST again today, which is just delightful. I also love that little poem that Ji Soo and Ha Won recite together in Norway. It’s a few simple lines, but I found it strangely comforting!

Oh, wow, dramadillo! I’m so glad this post resonated with you like this. I did love this show to pieces.

I..eerrrr… finished the drama and read your post (thanks for the link @mellowarmadillo!). It’s really beautifully written. It’s like the drama opened up a window into LT’s soul, of which I only knew the irresistibly indifferent beanie. Thank you for sharing your piece with the world… I’m rambling and can’t say much else at the moment because I have to think. I have a feeling I’ll be gently thinking about this drama for a few days.

Liked APIYM a lot! There’s a turn of events on ep 2 that weirded me out, but the drama turned around and became super cute and comforting as both leads started (and helped each other) healing. In the end, this drama had one of the best OTP of the year, and the homestead crew is just adorbs
Still hate the second ML, though! 😑
